After last week’s launch event, Apple began taking pre-orders for the new iPhone 17 lineup on Friday, September 12th.
As expected, everyone’s been talking about the new iPhone 17, especially the Pro Max! It’s got a ton of cool stuff, like the new iOS 26, a fantastic triple-camera system, and features that I’m really excited about – things like Call Screening to block spam and real-time translation. It feels like Apple’s really pushing the boundaries with this one.
I was so excited to pre-order the iPhone 17 Pro Max, and it seemed like there were plenty available over the weekend! But I just checked this morning, and a few UK retailers are already sold out. Amazon, for example, doesn’t have any in stock right now. Luckily, it looks like EE, Sky Mobile, and O2 still have good availability, which is a relief!

Pre-orders for the Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max began last Friday, September 12th, and will continue until this Friday, September 19th. The phone will officially go on sale on September 19th.
