More and more gamers are opting for game subscriptions instead of buying games directly. But is Football Manager 2026 available on Xbox Game Pass or PlayStation Plus?
Game Pass and PlayStation Plus, the main subscription services for Xbox and PlayStation, are now the most popular ways to access a huge library of fantastic games.
This is particularly true with annual releases like Football Manager, since you’re expected to purchase a new version every year regardless.
As a huge Football Manager fan, I always love starting a new save with some promising young players. Seriously, don’t miss out on checking out the wonderkids in FM26 – signing a few of them can really give your team a boost right from the beginning!
But for the full details on whether FM26 is on Game Pass or PS Plus, here’s what you need to know.
Is FM26 on Xbox Game Pass?
FM26 is available on Xbox Game Pass, but only via two of the available subscription plans.
Football Manager 26 will be available to play on day one for anyone with an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass subscription.
Unfortunately, if you have a Game Pass Essential or Game Pass Premium subscription, you won’t be able to play FM26.
As a big Football Manager fan, I’m so excited to share that FM26 Console is coming to both Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass! That means I’ll be able to jump in and manage my team without having to buy it separately – awesome!
Is FM26 on PS Plus?
No, at the time of writing, it does not appear that FM26 Console will be coming to PS Plus.
Football Manager 2024 is currently included with PlayStation Plus Extra and higher subscriptions, but it’s not yet known if Football Manager 2026 Console will be available on PS Plus when it releases.
The game is currently 10% off on the PlayStation Store for PlayStation Plus members, but it doesn’t appear to be part of the PS Plus game library itself.
The official Football Manager website also confirms FM26 will be available on Xbox Game Pass, but doesn’t mention PlayStation’s PS Plus service.
It’s currently unclear if the game will be available on PS Plus, but given how well the console version of the game is doing and the developers’ focus on making it better for consoles, we think it’s likely to appear on PS Plus at some point.
