‘It’s So Dumb’: Boston Rob And Bob The Drag Queen Have Thoughts About One Move From Candiace Dillard Bassett On The Traitors Season 4

SPOILERS are ahead for The Traitors Season 4 episodes 1-3.

Get ready for more drama! Season 4 of The Traitors, filmed in the Scottish Highlands, is underway and already delivering exciting moments. Even former ‘traitors’ like Boston Rob Mariano and Bob The Drag Queen are shocked by Candiace Dillard Bassett‘s bold moves and sneaky gameplay.

As a huge fan of The Traitors, I was so excited to hear Rob and Bob – those two were amazing last season when Rob exposed the other traitor! – are now hosting the official podcast for Season 4. They were breaking down the first episodes, and honestly, Candiace’s plan with the conga line was genius. She got everyone dancing while the traitors actually did the murder! Mariano’s reaction to it was priceless, and I can’t wait to hear more of their insights throughout the season.

It was incredible and unexpected. I totally disagree with any criticism. It was a really daring move. She managed to convince almost everyone in the castle to participate, except Rob C., who was understandably confused. Surprisingly, despite how ridiculous it seemed, it actually worked!

Season 4 of The Traitors is heavily influenced by The Real Housewives – two of the three traitors are from the Bravo reality series, with the third being Rob Rausch from Love Island. (A surprise reveal during a roundtable discussion also named Mama Kelce as a fourth secret traitor.) While Rob Mariano dismissed Candiace’s mistake as silly, Bob the Drag Queen sees things differently.

I hated it. Horrible… Every red flag went up for me… It was so dumb.

I initially sided with Rob in the moment, but looking back, no one seems to think his actions were truly treacherous. Because of that, I’m now leaning towards agreeing with Bob. It fits both of their personalities – Rob is usually very strategic, and Bob doesn’t mind being the center of attention, even if it means being seen as a bit of a backstabber.

Get access to NBC and Bravo’s popular shows with a Peacock subscription! Starting at just $7.99 per month (or $79.99 annually), you can stream every season and episode of The Traitors and more. See the deal here.

It’s a bit strange and raises an eyebrow, but honestly, most of the celebrities on the show are already pretty wild and outgoing, so it’s likely no one would even notice. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens. Here’s what went down:

Rob Cesternino, having received advice from Boston Rob before playing, quickly realized something wasn’t right and correctly figured out what was going on. Unfortunately, he was eliminated from the game that same night. It makes you wonder if another player will eventually understand what happened as the season progresses, or if Candiace will continue making risky moves that draw unwanted attention. The next two episodes are available to stream on Peacock tonight!
