Family time is as good as it gets.
Jack Nicholson was recently photographed looking happy with his children, Lorraine, 35, and Ray, 33, during a family outing last month.
An Instagram photo posted on December 4th shows 88-year-old Lorraine posing with his daughter and Ray. They were all relaxing at home and embraced in a warm hug for the picture.
The Nicholson family has been spending a lot of quality time together recently. In addition to the recent gathering, photos shared with the caption “a november to remember” showed Lorraine and her boyfriend, Jason Reitman, at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Governors Awards on November 16th. Jack’s oldest child, Jennifer Nicholson, also joined in the family fun.
Three-time Oscar winner Jack Nicholson, who is also a father to Caleb Goddard (55), Honey Hollman (43), and Tessa Gourin (31), has generally stayed out of the public eye lately. He’s made only occasional appearances, such as at Los Angeles Lakers games, but recently showed up for the 50th anniversary special of Saturday Night Live in February.

In January, a photo of the Shining actor hugging his daughter at home appeared on Lorraine’s Instagram. Their close relationship has consistently inspired the Soul Surfer actress throughout her acting career.
Lorraine shared with Us Weekly in 2011 that she considers him a mentor. She’s planning to join the family business because they have a strong relationship and she finds him incredibly inspiring. She expressed deep admiration for him.
And the family business has been built upon some generational advice, too.
Lorraine explained that her grandmother used to tell her father, ‘Don’t brag,’ and in their family, that meant ‘Let your accomplishments show for themselves instead of talking about them.’ She said she tries to live by that advice, not just in her acting, but in everything she does.
