Jack Quaid recently gave a hearty endorsement for the fresh face donning the cape after David Corenswet made his debut as the latest Superman in DC Studios’ new adaptation. The series, titled “My Adventures with Superman“, presents an innovative, anime-inspired interpretation of the iconic DC Comics superhero. The initial two seasons of this fresh animated show have been a massive success among Adult Swim viewers, largely due to its modernized portrayals of Clark Kent, Lois Lane, and Jimmy Olsen. With another new interpretation of these classic characters now in play, it seems one Superman is acknowledging the other.
As the voice behind Superman in “My Adventures with Superman,” I, Jack Quaid, couldn’t help but express my thoughts on the latest film interpretation of the iconic DC Comics character, portrayed by David Corenswet. Just like an Anime Superman, I find myself filled with praise for this fresh take on a beloved hero. It’s truly exciting to see fans from various mediums embracing this new version and paving the way for an even brighter future for our Man of Steel!
My Adventures with Superman Star Praises Superman (2025)
Quaid expressed his heartfelt admiration for the recent Superman movie. He mentioned that it had been a long time since he felt such hope from a film. He believed that the production team did an exceptional job in representing the character faithfully. The movie moved him to laugh, cry, and even elicit cheers from the audience – something unheard of in 2025! He went on to praise David Corenswet for embodying Superman so authentically that his humanity was evident in every scene. Quaid found it awe-inspiring to watch him “fly.” In conclusion, he wholeheartedly declared that David Corenswet is indeed Superman – end of story. Given Quaid’s background of playing the iconic character in an animated series for two seasons, his praise carries significant weight. Fortunately, more adaptations are in development.
My Journeys with Superman
Immediately following the conclusion of Season 2, news about the production of Season 3 was made public. However, as I write this, no fresh updates have been shared regarding the episodes. The second season introduced a significant shift for our superhero, who not only donned a new outfit but also welcomed his cousin, Kara Zor-El, into the scene, embodying her Supergirl persona completely. This change sets the stage for an array of exciting new tales that could potentially delve even deeper into the series.
What’s Next for My Adventures with Superman?
Previous previews for Season 3 of “My Adventures with Superman” have unveiled numerous exciting additions to upcoming episodes. Fresh faces such as Superboy and Cyborg Superman will make their first appearance, Lex Luthor’s iconic bald look is on the horizon, and much more awaits us. Recently at San Diego Comic-Con 2024, executive producer Jake Wyatt disclosed that a total of four and a half episodes have been penned so far, with the cast already recording the initial episode. Moreover, Kara will now be part of the main cast, promising a fresh dynamic.
In the same vein as “My Adventures with Superman”, a new anime series titled “My Adventures with Green Lantern” will extend the shared universe. The producer of the former, Jake Wyatt, will be taking on an executive producer role for this upcoming show along with co-producer Stephanie Gonzaga. Wyatt hinted at their plans by saying, “Some of you were curious – yes, the new series will occur within the same timeline as ‘My Adventures With Superman’. I’m excited to broaden and delve deeper into this universe alongside my partner [Stephanie Gonzaga]…We aim to involve as many members from the Superman design team in Lantern as possible!
