They’ve been focused on developing a story that lives up to the original, with both insisting any follow-up needs to be very mature and violent – embracing the grim and intense themes of the comic books more fully than the first film could. However, Warner Bros. Discovery recently created DC Studios and changed its approach to comic book adaptations, which has made Constantine 2‘s future less secure.
