In a July 27 interview with Entertainment Tonight, James expressed his sentiment, saying, “That’s really impressive! I certainly wish him the best with his studies.

58-year-old individual humorously mentioned finding it challenging at school due to his surname, Gunn, sharing anecdotes about being given nicknames such as Tommy Gun, BB Gun, and Raygun.

James pondered, “Will they name him AQ instead? I wonder if little Aquaman might face teasing at school?

He added, “Do kids make fun of kids anymore?”

Nevertheless, although James expressed worry about it, Frank Grillo and Tim Meadows, who participated in the interview along with him, were convinced that baby Aquaman would turn out just fine with his unique moniker.

Speaking about Trisha, she mentioned that their third child is named Aquaman. This name was ideal, she said, because it encapsulates her fondness for films and her husband’s affinity for water.

In the July 22nd episode of her Just Trish podcast, the 37-year-old expressed a deep connection to both herself and Aquaman. She’s been sporting Aquaman T-shirts for quite some time, has attended numerous comic-cons centered around him, and rekindled her affection when they rewatched Aquaman.

She commented, “Since Cancer is a water zodiac sign and Moses has an affinity for water, it leads us to consider a water-themed approach.

Initially, the couple, who gave birth on July 12, were also pondering over the name Water Serpent, as an alternative to Aquaman, since Moses, aged 47, had composed a poem based on this theme.
