
Kimberly Van Der Beek didn’t want to wait to give husband James Van Der Beek her support.
Oh my gosh, when Joshua Jackson posted that sweet message thanking all of us fans, my heart melted! And then, then his wife, Jillian, had to go and post the most adorable message supporting him! It’s just… everything about them is perfect. I seriously can’t handle the cuteness!
Kimberly commented on James’ Instagram post from November 24th, calling him a “wizard” and celebrating his recovery with the phrase “Bouncing back baby!”
In a recent post, the actor known for Varsity Blues looked healthy while wearing a jersey from the movie.
James expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming support he’s received – the love, prayers, and encouragement – saying it’s given his jersey a much deeper meaning than just being a movie prop. He also mentioned he’s selling signed jerseys to help cover medical expenses and shared his endless thanks to everyone.
Besides James, who shares six children – Olivia (15), Joshua (13), Annabel (11), Emillia (9), Gwendolyn (8), and Jeremiah (4) – with Kimberly, he’s also selling signed jerseys and recently announced he’s auctioning off items from the TV show Dawson’s Creek.
James explained on the auction website that he’d been keeping these valuable items for years, hoping to find the perfect moment to sell them. Recent unexpected events have made him realize that moment has arrived.
James was glad to donate some personal items to help with his cancer treatment, but he also felt a bit sentimental as he gave them away. These items included original props and decorations from his character Dawson Leery’s bedroom.

James was recently supported by his former Dawson’s Creek co-stars – including Michelle Williams, Katie Holmes, Joshua Jackson, and Busy Philipps – who held a live reunion to raise money for his fight against cancer.
James couldn’t be there because he had a stomach bug, but his wife sent her thanks to everyone in the cast who was able to attend.
Kimberly shared on Instagram on September 22nd that the night was incredibly meaningful for her family. She said they’d be cherishing the memories for a long time and expressed gratitude for all the love, support, and prayers they received.
