This year’s collaboration with none other than Jason Statham is a testament to their commitment to delivering high-octane entertainment.
In the spirit of maintaining their festive tradition, World of Tanks is once again collaborating with action film celebrities, this time inviting Jason Statham to be part of their Holiday Ops 2024 event. Just like nothing can quite capture the holiday spirit better, having Statham in a Santa Claus costume blasting a tank shell isn’t something we’ll forget easily.
The game called World of Tanks, created by the developers at Wargaming, is a massive, multiplayer online (MMO) experience that players can enjoy for free.
This game was first introduced in 2010, and since then, it’s been adapted for virtually all available platforms. In the game, you assume command of a tank and engage in online battles both cooperatively and competitively.
Annually, World of Tanks organizes a unique Christmas celebration filled with holiday cheer. In each occasion, a popular figure participates in the exciting mayhem, while Wargaming creates and shares a high-quality action-comedy video trailer.
In the previous year, Wargaming successfully recruited Vinnie Jones, a member of the iconic “Crazy Gang,” for their annual Holiday Ops event. Previously, we’ve seen Arnold Schwarzenegger, Milla Jovovich, and Chuck Norris participate in our events.
Now, another tough guy from Cockney’s side is jumping into the fray. Following their usual style, Wargaming has dropped an eccentric action-packed trailer featuring Jason Statham, known for films like The Transporter, Fast and Furious, and The Meg, playing an extraordinary Santa Claus stuntman who seizes control of the entire set.
It’s well worth a watch – you get to see a bad guy punch Santa and a very frustrated director, not just Statham and his witty one-liners and action scenes.

According to a statement from Wargaming, actor Jason Statham detailed his reason for taking on the role of the 2021 World of Tanks Holiday Ops Ambassador.
In his career, Statham has operated nearly every kind of vehicle, but nothing compares to the thrill of racing through in a tank.
I’ve joined forces with Wargaming as the latest Holiday Ops Ambassador for World of Tanks, and I’m eager to take on this role. This collaboration presents an exciting chance to infuse some holiday cheer and intense gameplay for players worldwide.
At the Holiday Ops 2025 event in World of Tanks, players can explore the “refreshed and cherished holiday garage”.
Within this hangar, players are set to receive unique tasks and combat operations. Successfully completing these missions awards them with prizes directly from the hands of Jason Statham.
Indeed, Statham’s digital likeness will be featured within the game. He’ll assign tasks for you to accomplish which will reward you with a mix of exciting prizes and unexpected treats.
The “Jason Statham World of Tanks Holiday Ops 2025” event, featuring Jason Statham, will take place from December 6th, 2024 (Friday) and continue until January 13th, 2025.
