Jenna Bush Hager Reacts to Craig Melvin Not Watching Her Show

Jenna Bush Hager was surprised by a recent admission. Her “Today with Jenna & Friends” co-host, Craig Melvin, confessed that he hadn’t ever watched her show!

During the November 3rd episode of the show, Craig, 46, admired the studio’s colorful set, saying, “You know, I’ve actually never watched the show before.”

Jenna, taken aback by what he said, looked over at Henry Hager, with whom she shares her three children: Mila, 12, Poppy, 10, and Hal, 6.

“That was really rude!” the 43-year-old said, clearly upset. “Did you catch him saying he’s never even seen the show?”

Despite the surprise of the news, Craig—who began co-hosting Today with Savannah Guthrie after replacing Hoda Kotb earlier this year—says he isn’t deliberately avoiding talking about her on the show.

He said he couldn’t, explaining he was usually traveling. Jenna countered that the show was a full hour long. Craig, who’s been with the morning show since 2018, thought about it and then said he might be able to catch some of it.

Although this was Craig’s first time co-hosting the fourth hour of the show, Jenna has been a guest on Today in earlier time slots for years. Recently, she appeared on the first hour on October 31st, dressed as a remarkably accurate Anna Wintour. Savannah joined in the fun, dressing as Miranda Priestley from The Devil Wears Prada.

Savannah told TopMob News that she believes she and Jenna were naturally suited to their roles, and Jenna agreed, saying they intentionally aimed for a coordinated appearance.

Savannah and a friend were planning their Halloween costumes, but they couldn’t continue their usual tradition of trick-or-treating with their children this year. Savannah shares her two kids, 11-year-old Vale and 8-year-old Charley, with her husband, Mike Feldman.

Jenna shared in a recent interview that they’re feeling down, but they’re still planning to enjoy Halloween by trick-or-treating with their kids.
