Jenni Farley Shares Update On Son Greyson After Autism Diagnosis

Jenni “JWoww” Farley is fist-pumping her family’s latest chapter.

Approximately seven years following Angelina Pivarnick’s announcement about her son Greyson’s autism diagnosis, she offered a glimpse into his daily life.

Jenni shared with TopMob News during a joint interview with costar Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi that he is really thriving. She added, “He’s simply outstanding. Let me clarify, he can still be challenging at times and prone to outbursts. But his early intervention, quality education, and exceptional support from his aides are truly remarkable.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’d put it this way: In my perspective, the television personality, who is blessed with Greyson and our 11-year-old gem, Meilani, from my past marriage with Roger Mathews, mentioned that they are his guiding stars. He hinted that without their presence, he might have lost his direction.

What about Greyson’s recent activities? Apart from excelling academically as valedictorian, he’s also been honing his skills on the soccer field during practices and working on his jiu-jitsu techniques on the mat.

Indeed, Jenni, aged 40, shared that her son had achieved another significant milestone by starting to wear contact lenses. She highlighted that this was particularly noteworthy for his age.

She clarified that he aims to give up his glasses because they impede his performance in sports, and as a result, he’ll be able to achieve whatever sport-related goals he sets for himself.

Currently, Jenni is concentrating more on Greyson’s advancements, implying that her thoughts are not primarily centered around planning her wedding with Zack Clayton, who proposed to her back in February 2021.

She clarified, “To me, he’s like my married partner. He’s the one I consider my life companion. Our bond is eternal. For me, marriage isn’t something extraordinarily important because if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. We’re just a perfect match.

In a change, Jenni mentioned that getting married now is not quite the same experience as it was when she parted ways with Roger back in 2018, after eight years together.

She clarified, “When entering a relationship following marriage, if I already have children from a previous partner and we don’t share joint bank accounts, the viewpoint of the marriage dynamic tends to be distinctly different.

She added, “Whether something occurs or doesn’t, it makes no difference when it comes to our love. Our love exists independently of any such events.

She intends to organize a celebration at some stage, largely due to requests from her Best Friend Forever, Nicole, and Zack’s mom.

As an overly excited fan, I can’t help but feel like I’m part of the family as Jenni and Zack, both 30, take their journey towards tying the knot! The Family Vacation revival is more than just a nostalgic throwback to the original series’ mysterious beach house. Instead, it feels like we, the fans, have front-row seats to the most intimate family getaways and celebrations!

She pointed out that they adopt a style which includes their family trips and showcasing their home life. This approach allows viewers to follow along and grow together with them.

In the eighth season, just like the others, we delve into the lives of Jenni, Nicole, Paul D (DJ), Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Vinny Guadagnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola, Deena Cortese, and Angelina Pivarnick.

Regarding the upcoming season finale on September 11th, Nicole revealed that the gang’s 15th-anniversary party at Seaside Heights will serve as a nostalgic journey through their past.

Now, take a sip of that Ron-Ron juice and keep reading for Jersey Shore‘s most tantalizing secrets.

1. Initially, the show was scheduled to air on VH1 as a competition series named “America’s Biggest Guido,” which focused only on male participants known as guidos. Out of the original cast, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino was the sole member who appeared in the pilot episode.

2. When the show’s concept evolved, producers recognized the need for female participants due to their potential for drama, as stated by casting director Doron Ofir. In this revised version of the show, The Situation was the first housemate chosen. His charisma shone during the casting interview, making quite an impression. According to creator SallyAnn Salsano in a 2019 interview with Vulture, The Situation confidently removed his shirt during the audition, leaving Salsano surprised and impressed by his comfort level.

3. Prior to joining “Jersey Shore,” Jenni “JWoww” Farley attempted to land a spot on another VH1 reality show titled “Paris Hilton’s My New BFF.” However, just a few weeks later, she received a call about a different reality show centered around guidos instead.

1. It was Paul “Pauly D” DelVecchio, then a DJ in Rhode Island, who got noticed by casting directors through MySpace in 2009. Interestingly, what won him over was the unique feature he had at his home during filming – his own tanning booth. As Ofir explained to Vulture, “Having a tanning booth was what made Pauly D stand out. A tanning booth can cost up to $10,000. Who saves up that kind of money to buy a tanning booth?”

2. Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, who had already tasted reality TV fame with MTV’s “Is She Really Going Out With Him?”, made an impression during her audition when she turned up drunk after seeing a casting call on Facebook. According to Ofir, “Nicole arrived wearing a miniskirt and she performed cartwheels and flips. She was extraordinary. Her application was smudged with fingerprints from her bronzer, which made me wonder, ‘What could have spilled on her application?'”

1. Despite being commonly known as Snooki, the petite reality star didn’t actually use that nickname regularly; she merely listed it on her application. As she confessed to Vulture, “I realized, ‘Oh no, now that it’s stuck, I wish I’d chosen something else.”

2. Before the show shifted from VH1 to MTV, another Jersey Shore character was picked to join the cast: Joey Fist Pumps, a well-known regular at the shore. As Ofir explained, “He went by Joey Fist Pumps.” However, he wasn’t able to participate due to his union contract. Another reason for his exclusion was that MTV preferred younger stars. So long, Joey Fist Pumps, and welcome Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Vinny Guadagnino!

3. Salsano revealed that the famous rubber duck phone, which was discovered at a local thrift store, was an unexpected find.
“Our art director went out and said, ‘I spotted this ridiculous duck phone,'” she continued. “I replied, ‘We can’t leave that phone in the house; it doesn’t fit.’ Then the show began, and I thought, ‘Oh my goodness, we forgot to remove that duck phone!’ Now, the rubber duck phone is the unofficial emblem of Jersey Shore.”

1. In the first season, I was practically a part of that T-shirt shop crew – working alongside them every day! Remember when Vinny confessed to Vulture, “We did the first season for absolutely nothing, not a single cent, except what we made at the Shore Store.”

2. The shop owner, Danny Merk, even spilled the beans to Vulture about our wages: “Initially, we were earning $10 an hour, then it went up to $15, and by the end, I think I bumped it up to $20 per hour.” If you asked Merk, he’d say Pauly D was the hardest worker. Jenni and Sammi were great at handling cash, but the Situation and Snooki weren’t exactly models of consistency.

3. After our first season became an absolute phenomenon, we got a substantial pay raise, jumping to $10,000 per episode, as reported by the New York Daily News. By the time the series wrapped up in 2012, according to The Hollywood Reporter, we were pulling in $100,000 per episode!

4. Ever pondered where GTL came from? It’s all thanks to the genius of production – they found our daily routine of hitting the gym, tanning salon, and doing laundry so repetitive and dull that they feared we didn’t have a show. They used to jot down ‘gym, tanning, laundry’ on a dry-erase board every day, but eventually grew lazy and started writing ‘GTL’. Salsano shared this tidbit with Vulture.

13. Unlike most reality shows, the cast of Jersey Shore is constantly filmed around the clock for 30-50 days during production, as stated by Salsano, “We don’t wait for something to happen, we keep them rolling.”

14. The reality stars were initially prohibited from using cellphones, TV, writing tools, or magazines, but they could make one personal call per week. As Pauly D explained to Vulture, “The only time you’re off camera is when you’re in the bathroom, even if you’re with someone else. They say two is a party, so they film it.” To escape the cameras, they took lengthy showers, but eventually, it became routine.

15. After Angelina’s dramatic departures from the cast, Deena, who had auditioned for the show before its debut, was recruited to replace her in season three. In 2010, Deena told Entertainment Weekly, “Nicole and I have been friends for about two years now, and she needed a partner-in-crime, someone to team up with on the show.

1. Visitors were checked for age verification before being granted access to the Jersey Shore house.
* “At the Jersey Shore house, people undergo an age check,” Salsano clarified to Vulture. “We use the same identification system as clubs-the electronic scanner-to ensure only those aged 21 and over can enter. Additionally, if someone is too drunk, we ask them to leave.”

2. The idea of a new Jersey Shore cast with guidos and guidettes almost became a reality, as MTV initially considered an all-new housemate lineup for the second season.
* It was nearly the case that a fresh group of guidos and guidettes would star in Jersey Shore, as MTV initially planned to replace the original cast with new housemates for the second season.

3. The Jersey Shore house can be rented out, but the price is steep at $3,500 per night for a stay in the 6-bedroom, 3-bathroom Seaside Heights icon. It’s worth noting that the hot tub isn’t included with the property itself, as it’s situated on the rooftop of the adjacent t-shirt shop.
* The Jersey Shore house is available for rent, but the cost is $3,500 per night to enjoy its 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms in Seaside Heights. However, guests should be aware that the hot tub isn’t part of the property itself, as it’s actually situated on the roof of a nearby t-shirt shop.

1. When Jersey Shore premiered in 2009, a number of advertisers chose not to sponsor the show and withdrew their ads, such as Domino’s Pizza and Dell. The program also faced criticism from the Italian-American organization UNICO due to its portrayal of guidos. Salsano, who created the show, said at the time, “I was completely taken aback. I didn’t understand why they were so angry. If you look at the credits for the show, it features Italian-American kids from the East Coast. This is a representation of our heritage and who we were as teens.”

2. Although the cast was quite open on the original series, during an episode of the revival series Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, JWoww and The Situation shared some personal struggles they faced off-camera during the show’s initial run. As the cast prepares for their Italy-set fourth season, JWoww revealed that she had a miscarriage and was emotionally distraught while filming due to medication she was taking. On the other hand, The Situation admitted his erratic behavior in seasons four and five was a result of withdrawal symptoms as he struggled with sobriety.
