Jennie Garth didn’t like anything about her doctor’s visit.

Later on, it came to light that the actress from “What I Like About You” was falsely informed by a clinic during a visit with her mother, Carolyn Garth, as a teenager, that she was pregnant.

Jennie clarified to Fiona, her step-daughter with Peter Facinelli, during the August 26th episode of her “I Choose Me” podcast, that she had gone in to start using birth control because she had a boyfriend and didn’t want to have a baby until she was ready for it.

The 53-year-old woman, noting that her partner during that time wasn’t Robert Pattinson from Twilight, confessed that while the meeting was intended to discuss birth control alternatives, her mother remained unaware that they were engaging in sexual activities. Instead, she explained that the purpose of contraception was primarily to manage an abnormal menstrual cycle.
