Jennifer Aniston & BF Jim Curtis Surprise Sean Hayes at His Play

Leave it to Jennifer Aniston to be the ultimate supportive friend.

Jennifer Aniston, along with her partner Jim Curtis, unexpectedly showed up to support Sean Hayes at a performance of his Off-Broadway play, The Unknown, in New York City on February 13th. Sean’s SmartLess podcast co-hosts, Jason Bateman and Will Arnett, were also in the audience.

After the show, the actor from Will and Grace seemed really touched by something Jennifer did, and kissed her on the cheek in a photo shared online. He also posted a group picture taken by Jim, featuring Jesse Tyler Ferguson from Modern Family and Jason’s wife, Amanda Anka.

Okay, I’m totally losing it right now! Sean—my Sean!—posted the cutest pictures from tonight’s play! He said this amazing group—Jen, Jim, and everyone with them—completely surprised him with a visit, and it just melted his heart. He actually said they warmed his heart! Ugh, I’m officially dying of happiness that they came to support him. He was so sweet to thank them on Instagram, it’s just… everything!

Although Jim, age 50, didn’t join the group for a photo, he did take pictures during their outing. Sean mentioned that Jim, who is also a hypnotist, even photographed him with Will and Jason.

“My dear friends,” Sean captioned the post. “Thank you so much for coming to the play tonight.”

The close friendship between the three hosts has been a major reason their podcast has become so popular, earning them a nomination for the first-ever Golden Globe award for Best Podcast last month. Although they didn’t win – Amy Poehler, who is also Will Arnett’s ex-wife, took home the award for her podcast Good Hang – Will predicted Amy would win just before the ceremony began.

He confidently predicted Amy would win, telling Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet, “Of course she will.”

Ditto Jason, who added, “I literally have a bet with John Krasinski—I’m betting on Amy.”

Nicole has always loved the films made by her sister-in-law. A few years ago, she got the chance to ask her to recreate some iconic moments from those movies, including a scene from My Best Friend’s Wedding.

During a May 2024 appearance on the Everything Iconic with Danny Pellegrino podcast, she recounted telling Cameron, ‘I need you to run towards me from behind the luggage cart, towards the airport.’ She explained that she began directing Cameron during a car ride, telling her exactly what to say. She added that Cameron was incredibly accommodating and willingly followed her instructions, which she greatly appreciated.

Thankfully, Lawrence was free to spend time with us, otherwise we might have missed out on seeing one of our favorite friendships blossom! It all started when the Oscar-winning actress emailed Amy Schumer after watching her 2015 movie, Trainwreck. Lawrence admitted she wrote, ‘I don’t even know where to begin. I guess I should just say it: I’m in love with you.’ They began emailing back and forth, which quickly turned into texting.

But their friendship really became strong when Schumer casually invited Lawrence to join her and her high school friends for a trip to the Hamptons. Schumer was surprised when Lawrence accepted, but quickly realized she was ‘the coolest person you’ll ever meet,’ as she told viewers on The Daily Show. Lawrence fit right in and was ‘like one of the gang.’

Everyone could use a friend who’s successful and established in their community! Jennifer Lopez and Sofia Vergara have been incredibly close ever since they met and instantly connected at the premiere of Man on Fire in 2004. Lopez described it as an immediate, effortless connection – someone who makes you laugh and who you just enjoy being around.

Vergara was also enthusiastically cheering on Lopez when she performed at President Joe Biden’s inauguration. She messaged Lopez, reminding her of her Bronx roots and telling her the performance was truly inspiring and beautiful to watch, as she shared with TopMob News.

Oh my gosh, can we talk about Jennifer, Courteney, and Lisa? Seriously, they’re the ultimate friend group! I’ve been following them forever, and it’s amazing how close they still are. It all started way back when they were filming Friends – they basically grew up together on that set and went through something huge as a group. It’s so sweet! Apparently, they make a real effort to stay connected, like meeting up for happy hour or having those adorable reunion moments we see online. One insider told me it’s easy for them to get together because they all live relatively close – Sunday dinners at Courteney’s, pool parties at Jen’s… it just happens! They really feel like family, and honestly, I think they always will. I’m totally obsessed with their bond!

Amy Poehler and Tina Fey have been incredibly close friends ever since they met in an improv class in 1993, and they consider each other family. Poehler, who has one younger brother named Greg, explained to PopSugar while promoting their 2015 movie Sisters that she and Fey are like “chosen sisters” and have a bond that’s given her a family experience she hadn’t had before.

You know how people talk about love at first sight? That’s exactly what happened with Josh and Katie when they met on the Dawson’s Creek set. We just clicked instantly – it was like, ‘Of course we’re going to bond over wine, cigarettes, and maybe even a little trouble!’ There was an immediate connection, a real love, and it’s honestly been amazing to watch it grow over the years. And I feel so lucky that we, as fans, get to see glimpses of their life together – from walking red carpets in coordinated outfits to even Katie’s perfect millennial pink hair moments. It’s just a joy to witness!

Drake and Adele, despite only recently starting to talk about working together, are clearly eager to collaborate. After years of admiring each other’s music – they’ve won a combined 19 Grammys – they began discussing a remix. Adele admitted she’s a big Drake fan, even buying the same red coat he wore in a music video. Drake responded with equal enthusiasm, jokingly offering to do chores for her. Instead of immediately recording, they spent time together casually, grabbing a meal and going bowling. It seems a collaboration is definitely in the works – they’re just taking their time!

After receiving wonderful support from other women during her pregnancies, Eva Washington is committed to offering the same to her celebrity friends. She shared with Entertainment Tonight that she makes a point of having open and honest conversations, particularly with Eva Longoria. Longoria greatly appreciated Washington’s advice when she welcomed her son, Santiago, in 2018, playfully referring to Washington as “basically my doula.”

After winning an Academy Award over 20 years ago for Good Will Hunting, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck have teamed up again for the film The Last Duel. Despite not working together on screen for a while, their close friendship remains strong. Damon explained to Entertainment Tonight that they’ve known each other for 35 years and grew up together, sharing a mutual passion for acting and filmmaking. He believes this shared obsession during their younger years created a lifelong bond.

The friendship between two prominent television personalities began in 1976 while they worked at a Baltimore station. Although Oprah Winfrey was an anchor and Gayle King a production assistant, and they didn’t usually mix socially due to the newsroom’s structure, a snowstorm brought them together. Oprah invited Gayle, who earned $12,000 a year as a PA, to stay with her. The next day, they went shopping at the mall, and a lasting friendship blossomed over sweaters at Casual Corner.

While your dates probably don’t involve Wimbledon or palaces, Meghan Markle and the tennis star’s friendship started like many others—with casual conversation. Meghan wrote on her now-closed website, The Tig, that they connected instantly at a 2014 Super Bowl event. They spent time taking pictures, laughing during a flag football game, and chatting about everyday things – not tennis or acting, but typical ‘girly’ topics.

Even though Game of Thrones has ended, the close bond between Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams remains strong. Williams, who was a bridesmaid at Turner’s wedding to Joe Jonas in 2019, playfully suggests that the biggest reward from the show’s eight seasons wasn’t its 12 Emmy awards. She told TopMob News at the final season premiere that the show felt like a long and complicated journey to find a best friend. “It’s been incredible,” she said, adding that having a friend like Turner throughout the show’s intense run was a true blessing.

Everyone’s heart probably melted watching Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively’s adorable reaction when their oldest daughter, James, recognized Taylor Swift’s song “Gorgeous” at a concert. Lively later jokingly called the viral video embarrassing, telling Robin Roberts on Good Morning America that it showed their completely genuine and over-the-top parental pride. But the close friendship between the families – which includes celebrating the Fourth of July at Taylor Swift’s Rhode Island home, get-togethers at Reynolds and Lively’s country house, and appearances in Swift’s music videos – is special and deserves to be cherished.

Oh my gosh, can you believe Jennifer Aniston basically gave Reese Witherspoon a friendship for the ages?! I mean, seriously! Before they were slaying on Apple TV+ with The Morning Show, they actually played sisters on Friends! Reese told Harper’s Bazaar that she was SO young – only 23 and just had her baby, Ava – when she guest-starred back in 2000. She was literally pumping on set, and Jen kept asking about the baby! Reese was so embarrassed, like, ‘Yes, I know it’s weird!’ But Jen was just the sweetest, constantly checking in. Reese said she was so nervous, but Jen was amazing, and they’ve been inseparable ever since. It’s just the cutest story ever, and proof that Jen is a true friend to everyone!

Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg have an unlikely but captivating friendship that began at the 2015 Comedy Central Roast of Justin Bieber. It later blossomed into their VH1 cooking show, Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party. Snoop Dogg explained to LA Weekly that Martha is different from people he’s usually around, but in a good way. He appreciates that despite her different background and generation, she’s genuinely down-to-earth and relatable. He feels comfortable with her because she’s straightforward and doesn’t shock him, making their connection feel natural and almost like a perfect match – a ‘holy matrimony,’ not just a casual ‘holy macaroni.’
