Jennifer Aniston is proving she’s there for Jim Curtis. 

After months of speculation about a possible romance, the former Friends star confirmed they are dating with a heartfelt birthday message on Instagram.

Oh my gosh, I’m still reeling from this! She posted the sweetest thing on November 2nd – a black and white photo of her hugging him from behind, and the caption just melted my heart. It simply said, “Happy birthday my love.” I can’t even breathe! It’s official, they’re so meant to be!

Tacking on a red heart emoji, the 56-year-old added, “Cherished.” 

Okay, seriously, can we talk about Jennifer and Jim?! I was so thrilled to see them reach this new level in their relationship! And it makes perfect sense, honestly, because Jennifer just shared the most amazing things about finding love at any age – it’s like she’s living proof! I’m just so happy for them both, it’s adorable!

Okay, so Jim answered a fan question about dating at his age – 42! – and honestly, it was so him. He said it’s really the same as looking for love at any age – 22, 32, whatever – but you just approach it with way more self-assurance, knowing who you are, and just being completely, totally yourself. It was perfect, honestly. He just gets it.

Jim advised, “Start by loving yourself and realizing you’re at a great age – life isn’t ending at 42! You’ll look back on this time when you’re older, like 62 or 72, and wish you were this age again.”

The hypnotist encouraged people to begin their search for love today, advising them to go out, be open to connection, smile, and, above all, practice self-love.

Okay, so Jim just said the most amazing thing ever! He was wrapping up this answer, and he basically dropped the secret to everything! He said that if you just learn to love yourself, you’ll attract so much love into your life. Seriously, I’m writing that down right now. It’s like…the key to happiness! I knew he was a genius!

Although Jennifer’s recent post officially introduces Jim as her partner, she’s subtly featured him on Instagram before. Back in early September, after they were seen on a few double dates with couples like Jason Bateman and Amanda Anka, she included a photo of the back of his head in a summer recap post with 18 pictures.

In a photo taken on September 7th, Jim enjoyed a lovely sunrise while Jennifer wrote a thankful message, saying “Thank you summer,” along with a heart and prayer-hands emoji.
