Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson will reprise their roles in a new movie set in the world of The Hunger Games.
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Jennifer Lawrence will return as Katniss Everdeen, and Josh Hutcherson will once again play her character’s love interest, Peeta Mellark. Sources suggest they may appear in a scene set in the future.
Based on the Suzanne Collins novel of the same name, The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping is set to hit theaters on November 20, 2026. The film will feature a cast including Joseph Zada, Jesse Plemons, Ralph Fiennes, Glenn Close, Kieran Culkin, Elle Fanning, Mckenna Grace, Maya Hawke, Kelvin Harrison Jr., and Whitney Peak.
