Jennifer Lopez Gives Update on Her Twins’ College Plans

Jennifer Lopez is getting loud about her kids’ next chapter.

I was so interested to hear what Jennifer Lopez shared about Max and Emme, her twins with Marc Anthony! She talked about how they’re getting ready for life after high school, which is such a big step. It’s amazing how quickly time flies, and I’m excited to see what they do next.

Jennifer shared on the October 6th episode of *Live With Kelly and Mark* that her children are starting to look at colleges, and she’s realizing they’ll be leaving home soon. She said, ‘It’s happening. They’re leaving. They’re going!’

Jennifer Lopez has complicated feelings about her children getting older.

She said remembering that period of self-discovery makes her happy. It was a thrilling time when she was deciding on her future, and she hopes her children experience that same excitement. However, she also acknowledges the realization that pursuing her own path means facing things alone.

Jennifer Lopez thinks she’ll enjoy having the kids grown and out of the house, but she’s always focused on creating a warm and welcoming home that Max and Emme will always want to return to.

From the moment my children were born, I wanted to create a home where they always felt comfortable and happy. I focused on making it a place they’d genuinely look forward to returning to – a place that felt and smelled like ‘home.’ And I think we’ve succeeded in doing that, creating a truly welcoming environment for them.

Jennifer, who finalized her divorce from Ben Affleck in January, shared that her relationship with her children has become stronger, despite some difficult times they’ve all been through together.

She described the three of them as very close, explaining that they had grown tightly bonded through shared experiences. This connection, she said, created something truly special for them.

Jennifer and her children have a close relationship at home, and they also enjoy spending time together experiencing their mutual passion for Broadway shows.

The singer of “Let’s Get Loud” recently shared on CBS News Sunday Morning that she tries to take her children to as many performances as possible. She explained that her kids are big fans of musicals, and she’s especially enjoying having one child pursue musical theater, calling it “living my best life.”

She explained that her children attend a musical theatre camp where they perform in shows, and she loves going to watch them. She said it’s a wonderful experience.
