Jennifer Lopez Reacts to Alex Rodriguez, Madison LeCroy Dating Rumors

Jennifer Lopez hit this response out of the park.

Okay, so it’s been *four years* since everyone started buzzing about why Jennifer Lopez and A-Rod split, and honestly, it’s still driving me crazy! Apparently, there were whispers about messages between him and Madison LeCroy from *Southern Charm*, and I just… I wish J.Lo could just escape all this drama! She deserves to move on without constantly being dragged back into this whole messy story. It’s been years, and I just want her to be happy and not have to deal with this narrative anymore!

During her October 15th appearance on *Watch What Happens Live*, Andy Cohen asked Jennifer Lopez about the rumors, joking that Bravo fans would be upset if he didn’t. J. Lo paused for a moment before responding.

After a pause, she said she didn’t want to discuss her personal life any longer, feeling she’d shared enough.

And after the live audience applauded her comment, J. Lo smiled and said, “Yes, support!”

Before Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez publicly announced their breakup in April 2021, saying they were “better as friends,” rumors started about trouble in their relationship. These rumors suggested they had split after Alex exchanged messages with Madison.

The rumors started because of comments made by Madison’s *Southern Charm* co-star, Craig Conover. During the show’s February 2021 reunion, Craig claimed Madison had flown to Miami to be with a former Major League Baseball player. Madison strongly denied this, stating she had never been to Miami and calling the accusation false.

When rumors started circulating that month, Madison responded to the claims in an interview with *Page Six*. She stated that she and Alex had talked on the phone, but they had never met face-to-face, and emphasized, “He has never been physically unfaithful to his fiancée with me.”

Several months later, Alex’s representative, Ron Berkowitz, addressed rumors circulating in TopMob News, stating, “I don’t know who’s spreading these false stories and benefiting from them, but they aren’t true. Alex is currently focused on his work and family.”

After the gossip died down, Madison spoke about the rumors again in 2023 on a podcast hosted by her former boyfriend, Austen Kroll.

Austen remembered someone saying they’d been FaceTimed repeatedly by this person – three or four times that day. This person then got upset with Madison for not answering her phone when she was out on a boat, and Madison responded that she wasn’t obligated to be available whenever he wanted.

Madison, who married Brett Randle in 2022, responded by telling him she wouldn’t tolerate being someone on the side. She explained that she expected loyalty and was looking for a committed relationship.

Austen Kroll, who had a difficult split from Madison LeCroy in 2020, found a new relationship with Audrey Pratt in 2024.

Austen explained to TopMob News in December 2024, shortly after introducing the character Audrey in season 10, that they weren’t rushing any kind of relationship. They felt it was too soon to put any pressure on things, and they were simply focused on enjoying each other’s company.

But despite taking their relationship slowly, Austen shared he’s no longer afraid of the “C” word.

After a lot of conversations with my therapist, I understood I was finally ready for a serious relationship when I met the right person. And when I did meet them, I knew I couldn’t ignore my feelings, honestly.

Madison and husband Brett Randle tied the knot during a destination wedding in November 2022.

After a battle with thyroid cancer, Madison shared in February 2025 that she and Brett are expecting a baby girl. They plan to name her Teddy, in honor of her late father, Ted LeCroy. Madison is also mother to a 12-year-old son, Hudson, from a previous relationship with John Hughes.

In a February 2025 interview with TopMob News, Madison playfully said she expects her daughter will be a handful. “I’ll probably dress her like me,” she shared, “but I really hope she isn’t as feisty and outspoken as I am!”

After a difficult breakup with Shep Rose, Taylor began dating Gaston Rojas in 2023. Viewers may remember Gaston from his previous appearances on the Bravo show, Southern Hospitality.

She told *People* magazine in November 2024 that she finally feels like an equal partner with the medical sales rep, and it feels genuine because they’re discussing their future together. She explained that he always prioritizes her needs, and she deeply appreciates this, as it’s something she’s never experienced in past relationships. She wants him to pursue his own goals, but values being made a priority.

Taylor said she and the other person first connected through friends while hanging out, which unexpectedly felt like a date.

During the tenth season of *Charm*, Shep developed strong feelings for Sienna Evans, Miss Bahamas. However, it soon became obvious to his fellow cast members and the audience that she didn’t reciprocate his feelings.

Even though he told her he loved her while they were traveling together in her home country, she ended up hurting him deeply, and did so in front of their friends.

Venita shared with TopMob News in December 2024 that she felt sorry for Shep, believing he had genuine feelings for the fan who took advantage of him. She noted this was the first time viewers had seen Shep fall in love, and it was painful to watch him get used.

Season 10 largely focused on Craig and his then-girlfriend, Paige DeSorbo, as they dealt with the challenges of being in a long-distance relationship. Craig was eager to settle down and have a family, but Paige’s growing career created difficulties in their three-year relationship.

I feel sorry for Craig because I’ve changed a lot since we first started dating three years ago,” the Giggly Squad podcast cohost shared on Bravo’s February 19th episode. “I’m much busier now, I’m not around as often, and my views on things like marriage, moving, and having a baby have all changed.”

After Craig and Paige separated in November 2024, they both stated that infidelity didn’t play a role in the split, which Craig described as unexpected.

Craig remains single and on the search for his soulmate.

Rodrigo and his boyfriend of nine years, Tyler Dugas, became engaged in September 2024. Rodrigo proposed to Tyler during a birthday trip to Santorini, Greece, celebrating Rodrigo’s 40th birthday.

Rodrigo said he was absolutely stunned. He was speechless at first. Eventually, Rodrigo pointed out that he hadn’t actually gotten a confirmation, and then the man burst into tears, overwhelmed with happiness, for the next fifteen minutes.

During the January 30, 2025 episode of the show, JT surprised everyone by revealing he’d been secretly dating someone, despite rumors of a potential romance with Venita in season 10.

The wealthy businessman has been quietly dating a woman named Ali since leaving the show in November 2024.

At the beginning of season 10, Venita shared that she and her boyfriend, Manny, had split up because he wanted to chase his Broadway aspirations. This left Venita single and open to exploring her feelings for her fellow cast member, JT, but he made it clear he only saw her as a friend.

Ventia explained that she was unaware of his existing relationship when she expressed interest in JT during the show.

Just to be clear, the dinner JT and I had after I cooked the Branzino happened *after* the trip to the Bahamas – which you all saw on the show *before* that. This week’s episode is making it seem like I was involved in something inappropriate, which isn’t true. I knew there would be drama signing up for this, but I won’t let people believe something about me that isn’t accurate.

Ryan, a longtime friend of Patricia Altschul, joined the cast of *Southern Charm* in 2024 and immediately won over viewers, along with his husband, Dr. Eddie Irions. Their relationship began when Ryan contacted Eddie on Instagram, and they’ve been together ever since.

From that weekend on, we were completely inseparable,” Ryan shared with Over the Moon in 2022. “It felt like we’d known each other forever, and we both knew right away that we were meant to be together.

Since marrying the gastroenterologist in October 2021, Ryan is a proud stay-at-home spouse.

Leva and her husband, Lamar Bonaparte, married in 2013 and have quickly become well-known in Charleston’s restaurant and nightlife scene. They have a 6-year-old son, Lamar Jr., and Leva joined the reality show in 2020 during its seventh season.

Their hotspot Republic is the setting for their Bravo spinoff Southern Hospitality.

Leva explained to Bravo’s *The Daily Dish* in 2022 that working with her husband can be intimidating. She said when he arrives, everyone knows he’s upset and things will likely become difficult, to the point where their employees try to avoid him being at the workplace.

Although Salley shared her relationship with Andrew Dietz on season 10 of *Southern Charm*, she announced in January 2025 that they had split and she is now single.

Prior to their split, Salley admitted Andrew wasn’t the kind of guy she usually falls for.

She admitted in a private moment that she’s usually attracted to assertive, business-minded men. However, she’s found herself drawn to Andrew, who prefers a gentle and communicative approach. She’s surprised by this shift in her preferences and says she’s enjoying it.

Although the former model considered a relationship with Shep when she first appeared on season 10, Molly is currently single and open to finding someone new.

She clarified in March 2025 that she wasn’t in love with Shep. She’d seen him date other people and wasn’t waiting around hoping he’d choose her.
