Jeremy Allen White Explains Why He’s Always Carrying Bouquets of Flowers

It appears that Jeremy Allen White has a convincing reason for the many photographs of him holding large bunches of flowers.

On Thursdays, White (age 34) mentioned that there’s a local farmer’s market close to his home which he visits every Sunday. He enjoys this outing and appreciates the fresh flowers he brings back to decorate his house. However, it has turned into something more than just a routine for him. He expressed this during his interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on June 26th.

Jimmy Fallon playfully inquired whether The Bear’s star, White, was employed at a flower shop as he displayed pictures taken by paparazzi showing him carrying bouquets of flowers. (Yes, those familiar photographs you often see.)

A while back, I ran into an old friend and we were reminiscing when she suddenly asked, “Mind telling me something?” It seemed like nothing, but her question took me aback. She inquired, “What’s the deal with the flowers?” As if there was some hidden agenda behind my affection for them. To set the record straight, I simply shared that I find them beautiful and enjoy their company.

White went on to say, “I enjoy having them at home. I find pleasure in gifting them to others. My daughters and I usually set them up together on Sundays. It’s a lovely tradition we share.

The Hulu celebrity clarified that the blossoms are merely “a personal interest of mine,” to which Fallon responded, “It’s something unique about you that nobody can ever steal away.

White has two daughters, Ezer who is 6 years old, and Dolores who is 4, with his former spouse, Addison Timlin. (White and Timlin tied the knot in October 2019. As reported by Us Weekly, she filed for divorce in May 2023.)

Ever since he became a dad, White often expresses his affection for his kids in numerous interviews. Last year, the actor discussed how his daughters have adjusted with his fame escalating due to The Bear reaching new levels of celebrity.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight back in June 2024, he expressed that it was both puzzling and unusual. However, he made it clear that those involved were aware of the television program.

As of now, neither Ezer nor Dolores has had the chance to watch the whole series completely, so they’re not entirely familiar with the “chef” reference that might have been made.

My eldest child, Ezzy, seems to find the initial two minutes of the pilot episode quite entertaining. That’s where I get startled by a bear and then take a tumble. She often requests to watch this part again and again, but that’s pretty much all of the show she has ever watched.

Given their youth, White believes it could take several more years for them to catch up with the series.

“I don’t know if we’re even ready to have that conversation,” he said.
