Jesse Metcalfe isn’t desperate to go under the knife anytime soon.
Jesse Metcalfe, known for his role in John Tucker Must Die, has admitted to using Botox, but says he’s not interested in getting any other cosmetic procedures.
Jesse, 47, recently told The Daily Mail that she tried Botox once, but didn’t like the results. ‘I got home and my eyebrows were uneven,’ she said, ‘and I decided I’d never do it again.’
He said he didn’t mind less drastic treatments, but he definitely didn’t want to have surgery.
Although he’s not ruling out plastic surgery, the founder of NUTRL Skin prefers to maintain his youthful appearance through natural methods.
He explained that he wants to keep his skin firm and healthy before considering any cosmetic procedures.
But Jesse admitted that being fresh-faced as an actor comes with its own set of challenges.
It’s a bit strange, but being my age can actually be a drawback,” he said. “People expect actors my age to play older, more mature parts – like fathers, for example. But sometimes I don’t look old enough for those roles, so I’m in a tricky position. I don’t quite fit the age they’re looking for.

He added that he feels fortunate to have a successful career, and believes people trust his advice on beauty and skincare because he visibly looks younger than his age.
Jesse’s acting career has taken many unexpected turns, and he’s openly discussed the reasons behind them. He recently explained why his character, John Rowland, the teen gardener on Desperate Housewives, only appeared for one season—and how he felt about leaving the show.
Jesse revealed on the March 17th episode of the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast that they were let go from Desperate Housewives after the first season. According to Jesse, the show’s creator, Marc Cherry, felt their storyline didn’t fit the direction of the series. Cherry explained that the show was about ‘desperate housewives,’ not ‘desperate house-gardeners,’ and therefore they wouldn’t be a regular cast member going forward, though they might return for occasional appearances.

Jesse left the show amicably because he was already set to star in the 2006 film John Tucker Must Die with Brittany Snow, Ashanti, Sophia Bush, and Arielle Kebbel.
He remembers thinking, ‘Great, this isn’t a problem. I’m going to be famous!’ He did return to the situation occasionally, but wasn’t deeply affected. He handled it well, believing it was just the start of something bigger.
Okay, so Jesse isn’t the only one being honest about stuff he’s had done, which is amazing, honestly. And I NEED to know who else is finally being real about it! I’ve been digging and found out about a bunch of other celebrities who’ve talked about their procedures, and I have to share… let me tell you everything!

After her divorce from Brennon Lemieux, the Love Is Blind season three star revealed she had breast augmentation surgery.
Okay, so it’s officially been five days since my surgery and I seriously feel almost completely back to normal! I finally went through with a lift and an implant, and honestly, the recovery hasn’t been nearly as bad as I was expecting. I’ve wanted this for SO long, like, ever since I finished breastfeeding my daughter. My breasts just… they weren’t the same after, you know? I’m just so happy I finally did it!

Julia Fox, known for her role in Uncut Gems, has admitted she sometimes wishes she hadn’t had certain cosmetic procedures. These include things like liposuction, a nose job, dental veneers, and the use of Botox and fillers.
I was really struck by something Jennifer Lawrence said recently. She told Allure that when she meets someone who seems completely unburdened by past experiences, she actually feels a pang of envy. It made me realize she used to feel so much pressure to be considered attractive, believing it was essential for her safety and well-being. It’s a really honest admission about how societal expectations can shape a person, and it resonated with me deeply.
Honestly, she basically said she might get around to things eventually, but it’s like, who cares about ‘eventually’ when she’s just… living her best life right now? It’s amazing, really. She’s not stressing, and I totally get it. Priorities, you know?

A month later, she spoke candidly about wrestling with her body image.
She expressed her hope on Instagram that her children would never feel so insecure about their bodies that they would resort to extreme measures to lose weight. While she believes minor cosmetic procedures like rhinoplasty or breast augmentation are acceptable, she feels that undergoing significant surgery solely to become thin indicates a serious mental health issue. She added that she says this with empathy and respect for anyone facing such challenges.

As a longtime follower of the Blanchard case, I was surprised to learn that Gypsy Rose Blanchard had a nose job and surgery to correct a deviated septum in April 2024. It happened just three months after she got out of prison, where she’d spent seven years for her involvement in the tragic death of her mother, Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard.

A star from The Real Housewives of Dubai shared photos and updates about her face lift and recovery process on social media in November 2023.
She explained to TopMob News that she wanted people to understand the reality of the recovery process after the procedure, showing the bruising and swelling that comes with it. “I looked like I’d been in a serious car accident,” she said, “but I recovered quickly – I was able to go out in public looking presentable after just five days, and felt completely normal at a restaurant after ten.”
The reality TV star explained her openness about getting a facelift by saying it would be strange to return to the show looking noticeably younger without explaining why. She admitted she does look about ten years younger as a result.

In a March 2024 interview with People magazine, she revealed she’s regained visible abdominal muscles. ‘I have lines on my stomach again, something I haven’t seen since before my pregnancy,’ she said. ‘I think all mothers understand that your skin doesn’t bounce back the same way after having children.’
In April 2025, she shared that she had spent more than $113,000 trying to find a cure for an unidentified facial parasite.

She also received Ellevate neck treatment from @theneckdoctor in 2019, along with a small amount of lip filler and chin filler. She confirmed she hasn’t had filler anywhere else and has not yet had eyelid surgery (bleph). She said she’d share any future procedures with her followers.

Okay, so I’m finally spilling the tea! I got a lower facelift, and a few other little things done, you guys. I was so self-conscious about my hands, so I had a fat transfer – they basically took fat from my leg (which, honestly, was the most painful part of the whole thing, can you believe it?!) and put it into my hands. I’m still recovering, as you can see from the bandage, but it was totally worth it. I just had to share!

She described going to a Chicago strip mall for these procedures, admitting it wasn’t a healthy time in her life. She’d often smoke and drink before going to get fillers like Juvéderm, calling it something she did on a whim.
She explained that she’d stopped getting cosmetic injections. Before filming the music video for ‘Applause,’ a friend who is a photographer warned her, saying he loved her, but was seriously concerned about her health and urged her to stop getting injections.

Once it was finished, things started to go my way,” she explained. “But I couldn’t help but wonder if I’d just given the man what he wanted.
I own all of my past choices, and they’ve led me to where I am now. I’m not dwelling on the past, though – I’m focused on the present and future.

In a 2002 interview with The Telegraph, the actress admitted to having some cosmetic procedures – a little plastic surgery, liposuction, and Botox. However, she said she didn’t see any real results from them, stating plainly, ‘None of it works.’

In 2007, the actress told People magazine that getting her deviated septum corrected was the best decision she ever made. She said she finally got a full night’s sleep for the first time in years. Later on, back in 2010, she decided to have some of that filler taken out. It just shows you how much things change over time, even with cosmetic procedures.
She explained on Today in 2013 that she found it fascinating how popular lip fillers had become, noting how many women had gotten the procedure. She felt like a trailblazer, saying she was among the first to openly admit to getting them.
