Jessie J Hospitalized Weeks After Breast Cancer Surgery

Jessie J is recovering from a recent health scare.

Six weeks after disclosing her early breast cancer surgery, the “Price Tag” singer announced another hospital visit.

Jessie posted on Instagram Stories on August 2nd, sharing that she spent the last 24 hours in a similar place to where she was following her surgery, 6 weeks later, an unexpected turn of events.

She explained that her symptoms suggested a potential pulmonary blood clot. However, she expressed relief as it turned out not to be the case.

After discovering an infection, the “Bang Bang” singer opted to carry on with her recuperation in the familiar surroundings of her own bedroom.

She shared that numerous tests were conducted, resulting in the discovery of an unidentified infection and a small amount of fluid on her lungs. She’s experiencing difficulty breathing, but she left the hospital last night (as she doesn’t like being there). She’ll continue investigating further as an outpatient.

Over the past two months, a 37-year-old woman who publicly announced her breast cancer diagnosis on social media was admitted to the hospital. Since then, she’s openly discussed the challenges she’s faced during this tough time.

In a different post on Instagram, she expressed that the recovery has been neither swift nor effortless, mentally it’s been incredibly tough for her. As a mom of a toddler, it’s particularly difficult because she can’t be the kind of mother she typically is due to her current situation.

She expressed her disappointment about needing to alter her career plans this year, having put in so much effort and anticipation into it. However, she acknowledged the reality of life’s unpredictability. She was overjoyed about receiving the green light, but she clarified that this news didn’t hasten or lessen the physical challenges of recovering from surgery.

In the end, her latest stay at the hospital acted as a wake-up call, prompting her to ease up and grant her body ample time to recuperate.

She mentioned that she’s fond of staying busy and being active, but currently finds herself unable to do so. However, she finds comfort in understanding that everything can adapt to a more relaxed rhythm, relying on the unwavering support of her tight-knit group.
