It feels like a party every day that the Jessie cast reunites.
Over a decade after “Jessie” ended in 2015, Debby Ryan, Peyton List, Karan Brar, and Kevin Chamberlain recently reunited for a fun get-together in New York City.
Debby, 32, shared on Instagram on March 22nd that Karan and Peyton are nine years older now than she was when they began filming Jessie. She also noted she’s currently nine years older than her character from the show. Plus, Karan, Peyton, and Kevin are all actually living in New York City and doing well in the theater world, while Debby now has a child.
Debby Ryan, known for playing the nanny to Emma and Ravi Ross on the show, shared that her connection with her young co-stars remains as close off-camera as it was during filming. She simply described them as “Family.”
The former cast members, who worked with Skai Jackson and the late Cameron Boyce on the show, were all smiles while enjoying pizza together. The reunion didn’t end there, though – Debby and Kevin, who played the Ross family’s butler Bertram, also went to support Karan in his Broadway show, Data.
Karan, 27, shared a sweet message with his favorite TV stars in the post’s comments, telling Deb, “You bring so much joy to my life. I love you!”
Peyton, 27, also sent a loving message to Debby’s three-month-old daughter, Felix (whom she shares with Josh Dun), writing, “Felix Fan Club. Love you guys so much!”

The outing definitely had a touch of Disney enchantment. Kevin shared a photo from the day on Instagram, referencing the show’s theme song with the caption, “It feels like a party every day with @debbyryan @karanbrar @peytonlist.”
Before getting back together with the cast, Debby welcomed her first child with Josh.
She shared on Instagram that they spent a cozy night under the bright supermoon, reflecting on their life as a couple and excitedly telling their child they were ready to welcome a new baby. Later that day, their son, Felix, was born under the glow of Christmas lights, with snow falling outside, and was immediately held by his father.
Debby continued, “I’ve held many roles in life, but being a source of comfort and growth – like a light helping something flourish, or being part of bringing a new life into the world – those are the things I’m most proud of.”

Clayton Snyder first became known for playing Ethan Craft in the Hilary Duff comedy series. After that, he stepped away from acting to finish school and play water polo at Pepperdine University. He did appear in an episode of NCIS in 2014, but now he works in real estate.
He’s still happy to talk about his time as a young actor, though. He told TopMob News that some clients recognize him while he’s showing them houses, and are surprised to find out who he is. He actually sees this as a positive thing, because it proves they chose him for his real estate skills, not just his past fame. He enjoys being able to share that part of his life while still being respected for his current profession.

Oh my gosh, Adam Lamberg! I totally remember him as Gordo from Lizzie McGuire – he was the best! It’s amazing to me that after the show, he actually did some movies, like When Do We Eat? and Beautiful Loser. But get this – he’s super smart too! He went to UC Berkeley and got a degree in Geography, then a Master’s from Baruch College! I was SO excited when I heard he was going to be in the Lizzie McGuire reboot, but sadly, he’s pretty much retired from acting now. It’s a loss, honestly, but I’m glad he’s doing what makes him happy. I still replay those Gordo scenes constantly, though!

Lalaine, who played Miranda Sanchez on Lizzie McGuire, largely faded from the spotlight after her character was written off the show and the 2003 movie due to her commitments to another Disney Channel film, You Wish!. She tried to launch a music career, but it didn’t gain traction. A planned spin-off series, What’s Stevie Thinking?, focusing on Miranda’s sister, only filmed a pilot episode. In 2007, she also faced legal trouble and was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, but completed rehab and had the charge removed from her record. While she had a small role in the 2010 film Easy A, Lalaine is now more visible on Instagram than in movies or TV shows. She did appear in the 2020 film Definition Please.

Jake Thomas is best known for playing Matt McGuire, Lizzie’s little brother, on the Disney Channel’s Lizzie McGuire. He continued acting after the show, appearing on Cory in the House and making guest appearances on popular dramas like ER, House, Criminal Minds, NCIS, and S.W.A.T.. He also had a role in the YouTube series Storytellers with Joey Graceffa from 2013 to 2014.
In 2018, Jake graduated from Cal State University, Northridge, with a degree in Screenwriting and a minor in Japanese. He now shares his photography and nostalgic photos from his time as a child actor on his Instagram account.

Camilla Belle started her career with a leading role in the Disney Channel movie Rip Girls in 2000, but took a break from acting before appearing in the 2006 remake of When a Stranger Calls and the popular 2008 film 10,000 BC.
In late 2008 and early 2009, she briefly dated Joe Jonas after meeting him while filming the Jonas Brothers’ “Lovebug” music video. This relationship was even mentioned in Taylor Swift’s song “Better Than Revenge.”
Since then, she’s primarily worked on independent films such as Open Road and Diablo, and in 2017 starred in The Mad Whale alongside James Franco. More recently, she’s had roles in the TV series Dollface and Law & Order: Organized Crime.

After finishing his role as Max Russo on Wizards of Waverly Place in 2012, Jake T. Austin quickly landed a lead part on The Fosters (originally on ABC Family, now Freeform). He played Jesus Foster for two seasons before leaving the show, and Noah Centineo took over the role. He then competed on Dancing With the Stars, but was the first contestant eliminated in season 23. Austin also provided voice work for The Emoji Movie (2017) and the thriller Adverse (2020), which starred Mickey Rourke. Although he wasn’t in the first season of the Wizards sequel, Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, fans are eager to see him appear in the upcoming second season.

I’ve always loved David Henrie, who played Justin Russo, and it’s been interesting to see what he’s been up to since Wizards of Waverly Place ended in 2012. He didn’t participate in the Wizards Return movie, which was a bit sad, but he’s still been working, appearing in films like Grown Ups 2 and Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2.
On a personal note, he married Maria Cahill (who was Miss Delaware!) in 2017, and they welcomed their daughter Pia in 2019. It was a bit of a shock when he was arrested at the airport around the time they announced they were expecting, accused of having a gun in his luggage. He apologized, and thankfully, the situation was resolved with two years of probation and some community service.
Now, he’s a dad to three kids, and I’m SO excited that he and Selena Gomez are both starring in and executive producing the new Wizards Beyond Waverly Place series on Disney+! It’s going to be amazing to see them back together.

Jennifer Stone is known for reprising her role as Harper Finkle, best friend to Alex Russo, in The Wizards Return: Alex vs. Alex. She also appeared in the Lifetime thriller High School Possession (2014) and played the Babysitter on Nickelodeon’s Deadtime Stories.
In 2013, Stone was diagnosed with LADA, a form of autoimmune diabetes sometimes called Type 1.5. She later used her film The In-Between to raise awareness about the condition.
Jennifer and Wizards costar David DeLuise both host the rewatch podcast Wizards of Waverly Pod.

Feeling nostalgic? Mia Talerico was just 10 months old when she began playing Charlie Duncan on the Disney Channel show Good Luck Charlie, which first aired in April 2010. After the show ended in 2014, she appeared as Paige in 13 episodes of Mani, a series on the YouTube network Brat. She also has her own YouTube channel where she makes videos about opening and reviewing toys.

I’ve been a fan of Bridgit Mendler since her Good Luck Charlie days, so it was amazing to see her take on a more grown-up role in NBC’s Undateable back in 2015! She was fantastic in those two seasons, and even after that, she kept popping up in things I loved, like a couple of episodes of Nashville and the Netflix movie Father of the Year. Then there was Merry Happy Whatever on Netflix with Dennis Quaid and Ashley Tisdale – she’s always so versatile. But honestly, what really impresses me is everything she’s done off screen. Did you know she actually released two albums? And she went to USC for anthropology before heading to MIT for grad school, and then Harvard Law?! It’s incredible! Most recently, she and her husband, Griffin Cleverly, adopted a four-year-old son, which is wonderful, and she’s even launched her own tech startup, Northwood Space, to build satellite stations! She’s seriously a powerhouse and I can’t wait to see what she does next.

Since the last Cheetah Girls movie in 2008, Raven-Symoné and Adrienne Bailon-Houghton have continued to be well-known through acting and hosting. However, Kiely Williams, who was also in 3LW, has lived a somewhat different life.
After appearing in The House Bunny in 2008, Kiely had roles in a few films, including Elle: A Modern Cinderella Tale and Stomp the Yard 2: Homecoming (both 2010), and Holla II (2013). She married Brandon “BJ” Cox in December 2016, with Sabrina Bryan from Cheetah Girls as a bridesmaid. As a mom of two, Kiely briefly returned to television in 2017, appearing on Celebrity Family Feud with Sabrina as part of the Girl Group team.

Following the release of Cheetah Girls: One World in 2008, Sabrina Bryan worked as a correspondent for TopMob News during the eighth season of Dancing With the Stars in 2009. She had previously competed on the show, finishing sixth three seasons earlier. She returned to compete as an All-Star in season 15 in 2012, but was again eliminated in sixth place, exactly five years after her first elimination, despite receiving perfect scores.
Beyond Dancing With the Stars, Sabrina did voice work for the Disney Channel animated series Fish Hooks. In 2011, she and Kiely Williams launched a web series called Dinner With Friends. She married Jordan Lundberg, a strategic accounts manager, on October 6, 2018, after dating for nine years. Currently, she’s tapping into the nostalgia for Disney Channel Original Movies with her iHeartPodcast, Magical Rewind, co-hosted with Will Friedle.

Ryan Merriman first gained popularity starring in Disney Channel Original Movies like Smart House in 1999, followed by The Luck of the Irish and A Ring of Endless Light. He then moved into more mature roles, appearing in horror films such as Halloween: Resurrection, The Ring Two, and Final Destination 3. From 2010 to 2014, he played Ian Thomas in 16 episodes of Pretty Little Liars, and he had a supporting role in the 2013 Jackie Robinson biopic 42. He continues to act, mostly in independent films.
Merriman married Micol Duncan in 2004, but they divorced in 2011. He announced his engagement to Kristen McCullen on January 1, 2012, and they married in 2014.

Kirsten Storms was a popular face on Disney Channel from 1999 to 2004, starring in the Zenon movies and Johnny Tsunami, and providing a voice for Kim Possible. However, she also began a more mature acting path during that time, joining Days of Our Lives on NBC in 2000 for four years and appearing in 410 episodes.
After a brief attempt at a primetime role in the 2004 CBS baseball drama Clubhouse, she returned to soap operas in 2005, playing Maxie Jones on General Hospital until 2023 – a role she appeared in over 1,100 times!
In 2011, she briefly ventured into reality TV with Dirty Soap, a short-lived series following the lives of soap stars. In August 2013, she and her General Hospital co-star, Brandon Barash, announced they had secretly married in June and were expecting a baby. Their daughter, Harper Rose Barash, was born on January 7, 2014. The couple later filed for divorce in April 2016, citing irreconcilable differences.

Erik von Detten became a teen idol in 1998 with his role in the Disney Channel movie Brink!. He continued to be a familiar face on screen, providing voices for the animated series Recess, playing John Bryant in The Princess Diaries, and starring in the Disney Channel series So Weird from 1999 to 2001. He even ventured into early reality TV, appearing on the first celebrity season of The Mole, and had roles in shows like Dinotopia and Complete Savages. More recently, he revisited a famous character, voicing Sid in Toy Story 3, a role he originally played in the first Toy Story film in 1995. Today, Erik works in sales for a finance company and is a father to two children with his wife, Angela.

Raviv Ullman first became known for playing Phil Diffy in the Disney Channel series Phil of the Future from 2004 to 2006. He then began taking on more mature roles, appearing in shows like Big Love and House – with his House episode marking the first time he was credited under his real name. From 2008 to 2009, he was a regular on the Lifetime comedy Rita Rocks. More recently, he’s been in an episode of Broad City (2015) and had a recurring role in the web series Strangers (2018). Between 2012 and 2018, he also performed in several stage productions, and from 2013 to 2014, he played drums for Zoe Kravitz’ band, Lolawolf. In 2022, he told TopMob News that he had just finished directing an opera at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.

Kimberly J. Brown became famous in 1999 when she played Marnie Piper in the Disney Channel movie Halloweentown, alongside Debbie Reynolds. The film was very popular and led to three sequels, but surprisingly, the network replaced her with Sara Paxton for the fourth movie, Return to Halloweentown in 2006. That fourth film isn’t as well-loved by fans.
Outside of Halloweentown, Kimberly has had a few acting roles, including appearances in the 2005 film Be Cool, AMC’s Low Winter Sun in 2013, 15 episodes of General Hospital in 2021, and nearly 50 episodes of Guiding Light.
After earning a business degree in college, she opened an Etsy shop called CraftilyCreative, where she sells handmade items, including Halloweentownthemed merchandise. She also co-authored a children’s book, Poppin’s Pumpkin Patch Parade, with Diane Yslas in 2016.
Disney fans were thrilled when she married her Halloweentown* co-star, Daniel Kountz, in April 2024.

Mitchel Musso became well-known for playing Oliver Oken, best friend to Miley Stewart (Miley Cyrus), on the Disney Channel series Hannah Montana from 2006 to 2011. As Hannah Montana ended, he seemed poised for continued success with Disney, landing the lead role in the new series Pair of Kings and also hosting PrankStars. However, his career stalled after a DUI arrest in October 2011 – he was 20 years old at the time. He was removed from Pair of Kings, and PrankStars was canceled. Following this, he worked on independent films and provided voice acting for the Disney XD series Milo Murphy’s Law. In 2023, he was arrested in Texas for public intoxication and theft.

Jason Earles is well known for playing Miley Stewart’s older brother, Jackson, on Hannah Montana. Interestingly, he was 29 when the show started – much older than the 10th-grade character he portrayed! By the time Hannah Montana ended, he was 34. He quickly moved on to Disney XD’s Kickin’ It, where he played Rudy for four seasons, a role more fitting for his age, until the show finished in March 2015. More recently, since 2018, he’s appeared on the Brat series Hotel Du Loone, which is available on YouTube, and joined the cast of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series for its third season. Jason married Katie Drysen in August 2017.

Kyle Massey first became known for playing Cory Baxter on the Disney Channel series That’s So Raven from 2003 to 2007, which led to his own spin-off show, Cory in the House, lasting until 2008. Since then, he’s appeared in various roles, including recurring parts on The Electric Company and voice work in animated series like Fish Hooks and Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He also competed on Dancing With the Stars and Celebrity Family Feud.
In 2018, reports surfaced that Massey would join the cast of The Hills: New Beginnings, but he quickly dismissed these rumors as false.
In 2021, Massey was charged with a felony related to communication with a minor. His lawyer stated that the charges were a resurfacing of previously dismissed allegations and that Massey believes they are an attempt at extortion. The lawyer indicated Massey intends to vigorously defend himself and pursue legal action against those spreading the allegations, seeking to have the case dismissed and damages awarded.

A.J. Trauth started his career with roles as Twitty on Even Stevens (2000-2003) and as Josh Mankey in a few episodes of Kim Possible. He then appeared as a guest star on popular TV shows like 7th Heaven, House, Ghost Whisperer, CSI, and Bones until 2012.
More recently, he’s worked on independent films and provided voice acting for the video games Wolfenstein: The New Order and its sequel, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. A.J. got engaged to actress Leah Pipes in February 2014, after dating for nearly three years, and they were married that December. However, they later divorced by 2019.

Christy Carlson Romano first became well-known for her roles as Ren Stevens in Even Stevens and Kim Possible. She also starred alongside Hilary Duff in the Disney Channel movie Cadet Kelly. In 2004, she transitioned to Broadway, playing Belle in Beauty and the Beast for 31 weeks, and later joined the cast of Avenue Q in 2008.
Beyond acting, Christy is a multi-talented creative. She wrote the novel Grace’s Turn in 2007 and directed the film Christmas All Over Again in 2016. She also earned a degree in Film Studies from Barnard College and married writer-producer Brendan Rooney on New Year’s Eve 2013. They have two daughters, with their youngest born in February 2019.
In 2019, Christy returned to the network that launched her career with a role in the live-action Kim Possible movie, playing Poppy Blu. That same year, she bravely shared her personal struggles with depression and drinking in a powerful essay for Teen Vogue, revealing that her public image didn’t reflect the challenges she faced privately.

I’ll never forget when Brandon Baker first appeared as Johnny Tsunami back in 1999 – he was instantly iconic! After that movie, he kept working, showing up in a few episodes of Even Stevens and even taking on roles in more mature shows like Boston Public and The Unit, all while going to school at UC Santa Barbara. Then, in 2007, he brought Johnny Kapahala back for the sequel, Johnny Kapahala: Back on Board, which was amazing to see! Since then, he’s been in a couple of independent films, The Formula with Reginald VelJohnson (from Family Matters!), and Up on the Wooftop, where Dennis Haskins – yes, the Mr. Belding – played Santa. It just felt right, honestly!

Alana Austin became known in 2001 for her role as Andi Carson in the Disney Channel movie Motocrossed. The film follows Andi, a talented teenage motocross enthusiast who disguises herself as her twin brother to compete after he’s injured.
After Motocrossed, Austin appeared in guest roles on shows like 7th Heaven, Boston Public, and Cold Case, but she stopped acting in 2006. She later attended USC to study medicine. In 2016, when a fan asked her about her current work on Twitter, she mentioned she was focusing on writing, though she still felt a strong connection to acting.

Kay Panabaker first gained recognition with a role on Disney Channel’s Phil of the Future, which led to starring in several Disney Channel Original Movies like Life is Ruff and Read It and Weep. She even competed on the first Disney Channel Games in 2006 alongside her older sister, Danielle Panabaker. While she later took on more mature roles in the 2009 film Fame and the 2011 TV drama No Ordinary Family, she stepped away from acting by 2012. Kay then pursued her passion for animals, studying zoology at UCLA and eventually working as an animal keeper at Disney’s Animal Kingdom by 2016.
