The creators of John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando have just announced a playable demo is now available on X (formerly Twitter). You can try it out until March 2, 2026.
The demo lets you and your friends try out a couple of missions, introducing you to the game’s wild and chaotic action. It’s designed for teamwork – you can play with friends or bots – and gives you a preview of the zombie swarms unleashed by the Sludge God. It’s a perfect opportunity to practice and develop a strategy with your team before the full game releases on March 12, 2026.
If you’re looking for a fast-paced, cooperative first-person shooter, Toxic Commando offers a wild mix of action, accurate shooting, and vehicle-based combat. It’s all about creative chaos! If that sounds appealing, be sure to try out the demo while it’s available. You can find more information on the game’s Steam page.
While PC players are enjoying the opportunity to try the game, many console players are disappointed there isn’t a demo available. You can find a tweet about this, along with player reactions, linked below.
John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando launches on March 12th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.
