Longtime journalist John Dickerson is leaving the network at the end of the year, coinciding with Bari Weiss, the founder of The Free Press, taking over as the new editor-in-chief. CBS News President Tom Cibrowski publicly commended Dickerson, calling him a model journalist. Dickerson will continue co-anchoring CBS Evening News with Maurice DuBois through the holiday season before leaving the network.
