John Simm confirms fallout to cliffhanger in Grace season 6 – and the “huge mistake” Roy makes

The fifth season of Grace ended with a shocking twist: Grace received a threat from the Benchdale gang through Cassian Pewe, a former corrupt police officer now in prison. It turns out Grace’s late wife, Sandy, owed the gang money, and they’re now targeting her son, Bruno, to get it back.

John Simm hinted during a recent interview about season 6 that Grace will be facing a major danger in the upcoming episodes, and she’ll also have to deal with the fallout from Cassian’s disloyalty.

Simm explained that the aftermath of the Cassian Pewe situation is still causing problems. They are currently under investigation, and they’re also worried about the threat made at the end of the last season – that the Benchdale gang will target Bruno. This leaves both him and Glenn feeling anxious and under pressure.

Each week brings a new case, but looming over everything is the threat from Albazi and what he’s done to Grace. Grace makes a big error in judgment by not confiding in Cleo. He’s a well-meaning person, but I think keeping secrets is a mistake, and that’s the situation he’s in right now.

Richie Anderson, who plays Glenn Branson, shared that things are tough for the team in the new season. They’re under investigation following the events involving Cassian Pewe, and Glenn is also dealing with personal issues, as his partner Ari faces a misconduct investigation. It’s a lot to handle for everyone involved.

As John mentioned, Albazi is currently the main threat, and everyone believes they’re targeting Bruno. There’s a lot happening, including our current case, which puts the team in very stressful situations. This pressure is what motivates them to take quick action.

Following the shocking betrayal of ACC Cassian Pewe, East Sussex Police are still reeling from the fallout. Several months later, Grace’s team is investigating internal corruption. Meanwhile, Roy is struggling with a difficult decision: should he believe the information Cassian provided about both Sandy’s murder and the danger facing Bruno?

When Eden, the wife of a Brighton property developer named Neel, disappears, her husband reports her missing, launching his team into a complex investigation. A frightening voicemail left for Eden’s friend hints she may have been abducted, and evidence at their home suggests a struggle took place.

Neel (Rishi Nair) tells Roy he’s been threatened by someone involved in his new housing project, and Roy initially suspects this is the reason for recent trouble. However, new clues suggest something much darker is going on. Grace starts investigating Neel and Eden’s past, trying to figure out what happened the night of the incident. Roy has to sort through lies and deception to uncover the truth in a case where everyone seems to be hiding something.
