Look, I’ve been watching Scott Adkins for years, and honestly, he’s still one of the most underrated action stars working today. He’s a seriously skilled martial artist, and I’m excited to see him diving into a new period action thriller. After giving us a couple of future cult favorites like Diablo and Prisoner of War last year, he’s back to prove exactly why he deserves a lot more attention. I’m telling you, this guy delivers!
Directed by Andrew Loveday (known for films like A Lonely Place to Die and Rise of the Footsoldier: The Heist), Bedlam stars Scott Adkins – famous for his role in John Wick: Chapter 4 – as he leads this thrilling new movie set in the 1700s. Adkins sports a period look with long hair, and the film is currently seeking distribution deals at the European Film Market. The unique combination of Adkins’ action skills and a historical setting makes Bedlam a particularly interesting project.
‘Bedlam’ Will Deliver Cage Fights & Chaos for Scott Adkins

Signature Entertainment
The action thriller Bedlam has a compelling premise: Scott Adkins plays Jack Slack, a skilled street boxer who fights through the dangerous underbelly of London to rescue his sister. Along the way, he participates in brutal cage fights and exposes a web of corruption as he seeks revenge. A newly released image hints at the intense martial arts action to come, showing Slack as a formidable fighter facing off against a villain reminiscent of Batman’s Bane, but with a unique, historical twist. More details and trailers are on the way, but here’s a look at the film’s story…
This movie takes place in 1750s London and tells the story of a determined bare-knuckle boxer. He’s on a dangerous mission to free his sister from Bedlam, a notorious mental asylum. She was unjustly imprisoned by the Duke of Cumberland, and he’ll stop at nothing to get her out and seek justice.
Scott Adkins has several thrilling action movies coming out soon, including Bedlam. He recently appeared in Netflix’s The Rip alongside Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, a particularly prominent role for him. He’ll also be reuniting with The Raid’s Iko Uwais in the sequel Skyline: Warpath, returning for another action-packed, single-take film, One Last Shot, and leading Breaking Cover. In Breaking Cover, Adkins plays a father with a hidden past whose skills are put to the ultimate test when a simple hunting trip with his daughter becomes a desperate struggle for survival.
