When asked about family traditions at the premiere of his new movie, Modi: Three Days on the Wing Of Madness, Johnny simply replied, “Spending time with my family.” He shared this with TopMob News in Los Angeles on November 4th.
Johnny is excited to spend time with his children, but he’s also admitted to feeling a little nostalgic for when they were younger.
In a June interview with The Sunday Times, he shared, “I was Papa, and I loved it so much.”

As the holidays approach, 62-year-old director is releasing his new film, Modi: Three Days on the Wing of Madness. Although he directed the movie, he emphasizes that it was a collaborative project and wouldn’t have been possible without the entire team.
He stressed that the connections formed on set – between the actors, director, camera and focus teams – create a unified goal for everyone. He explained that whether he’s acting or directing, he’s always learning simply by observing the work of others.
Johnny is excited to relax and enjoy time with his children once his new movie comes out on November 7th. However, he’s also shared that he sometimes misses when his kids were younger.
He shared with The Sunday Times in a June interview, ‘I was Papa, and I loved it so much.’

The actor known for playing Sweeney Todd also mentioned feeling sad and lonely after his children left home – what’s often called ’empty nest syndrome’.
He said the first place he ever felt at home was the house in the south of France where he and Vanessa raised their children. He added that it was the only place that truly felt like home to him.
Lily-Rose has fond memories of her childhood, often accompanying her parents to their jobs.
She explained to Natalie Portman in an Interview magazine conversation from December 2024 that while she sometimes wished she could have gone to school with her friends while growing up, she now feels very thankful for her unique experiences.
Lily-Rose explained that her extensive travels as a child, due to her parents’ work, gave her a new appreciation for the effort they put into creating a sense of home for her and her brother in each new location. They always made sure they had fun activities and places to play, even though those places weren’t originally theirs.
Looking back, I realize my parents were deliberately trying to make my brother and me feel comfortable and at home, though I didn’t recognize it at the time.
