JoJo Siwa Bursts Into Tears Over Chris Hughes’ Comment on Her Hairline

JoJo Siwa‘s boyfriend Chris Hughes is learning about a painful chapter of her life.

Previously from Dance Moms, the alum emotionally shared experiences of being criticized harshly about her hairline during her youth. She confided in the reality star they met on Celebrity Big Brother U.K. earlier this year, explaining that these criticisms led to self-destructive behaviors over time.

In the video posted on TikTok on July 24th, JoJo mentioned that she was currently drying her hair. She then shared a comment made by someone else who appreciated her hairline, saying “He commented, ‘Your hairline looks great!’

With a gentle laugh, she brushed aside her tears and shared, “I was most often tormented about this one thing when I was growing up.

Chris, 32, quickly started to comfort JoJo, 22, telling her, “I love you.”

He confidently told the “Karma” singer that she has an excellent hairline, then gently patted her face with a tissue and hugged her, commenting on how much hair it has.

In the provided caption, it’s clarified that JoJo (who previously mentioned a stress rash from “Dance Moms” caused her receding hairline) actually cried out of joy, not sadness as it might have initially seemed.

She wrote: “He mentioned something about hairline memes from 2017-2020, which I’ve long been unaffected by on a daily basis. Yet, him saying this unexpectedly felt like closing the final chapter on a wound that had been healing for eight years – as if I had been leaving a bandage over it all this time, afraid to check if it was truly healed.

JoJo said Chris metaphorically “removed” the Band-Aid of her past wounds.

She added, “Lucky lucky girl I am. Don’t even think I realize how lucky sometimes.”

Moreover, Chris expressed his heartfelt gratitude to JoJo, stating to TopMob News that “she’s not just the love of my life, but also my dearest friend.

JoJo said Chris metaphorically “removed” the Band-Aid of her past wounds.

She added, “Lucky lucky girl I am. Don’t even think I realize how lucky sometimes.”

Chris expresses equal gratitude for having JoJo in his life. He shared with TopMob News that she is not only the love of his life, but she is also his cherished friend.

He shared that they often spend significant amounts of time together, almost lost within their own intimate universe in the living room. He mentioned that one thing they particularly enjoy doing together is relaxing on the couch while sipping tea.
