JoJo Siwa Reveals Chris Hughes Gave Her “Gorgeous” $2,600 Cartier Ring

JoJo Siwa is still spinning over Chris Hughes’ sweet Christmas gift.

About a year after they began dating, JoJo shared photos of gifts she received, including a beautiful Cartier ring. It seems to be a platinum ‘love ring’ from the jeweler, which can cost almost $3,000.

JoJo shared on TikTok Live on January 5th that Christopher gave her a beautiful ring in a lovely box, and she hasn’t taken it off since, according to The Daily Mail.

JoJo showed off a ring that looked like it was made of platinum and part of Carter’s famous collection. It had tiny circles etched around the edge of the stone setting.

Joelle Siwa (formerly known as a Dance Moms star) said she appreciated the “cool” gift, but her favorite present from her boyfriend of almost a year was a framed shadowbox commemorating their first holiday season together.

“He saved the airline tickets,” JoJo added. “It’s just so nice and so sweet.”

Chris gave a really considerate gift after explaining why he didn’t want to propose during the holidays – he thought it was too predictable.

It’s common to see engagement announcements on Christmas morning,” the 33-year-old shared in an interview with The Sun on December 20th. “You always see them on Instagram—it happens every year. I prefer the idea of proposing at a time when people aren’t expecting it.”

Meanwhile, JoJo joked that she would make their engagement even more unconventional.

“This is my thing,” she added to the outlet, “What if I got him a ring? What if I proposed?”

The 22-year-old shared that she hopes her boyfriend will propose, but she’s definitely ready to marry Chris and spend her life with him.

In a heartfelt December birthday message, JoJo told Chris, “I can’t picture my life without you. You’re the most amazing friend, son, brother, and boyfriend anyone could ask for.” She continued, saying he makes her life better every day and that everyone who knows him is fortunate. She ended with a playful, “I love you so much – even more than tater tots!”

JoJo seems very happy with her current partner, Chris, but she’s dated others in the past. Here’s a look back at her dating history…

On August 1, 2020, a then-17-year-old JoJo Siwa happily shared who she was dating – a boyfriend who she liked even more than her celebrity crushes, Patrick Dempsey from Grey’s Anatomy and Zac Efron.

Honestly, I’m just blown away! I was telling Jessalynn Siwa about this musician, and I truly feel like he’s perfect – I can’t picture anyone being a better fit. It’s just so amazing!

But by that November, the pair were no longer in harmony.

JoJo Siwa defended her recent breakup with Mark, saying he doesn’t deserve negativity. She explained that they had a genuinely happy and fun relationship, and their decision to split was mutual and amicable. She asked people to respect their privacy and understand that they both deserve support.

JoJo Siwa and Kylie Prew first became friends on a cruise in 2020, but their relationship blossomed a year later. Siwa announced on Instagram in February 2021 that she was officially dating Prew, calling her an exceptional person.

Siwa also thanked her girlfriend, calling her incredibly supportive and saying she inspired her to be authentic. She had previously collaborated with Pride House, a group of LGBTQ+ TikTok creators, and posted a TikTok of herself dancing to Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way.” She was considering whether or not to share a photo of her new shirt that said “Best Gay Cousin Ever.”

JoJo Siwa explained on The Tonight Show that she was hesitant to post a picture on her Reels story, but a friend really encouraged her. Siwa said her friend told her to go for it, and she decided to listen and post the picture.

JoJo Siwa and her former partner moved in together, a decision Siwa now regrets, according to her April 2024 interview on the Call Her Daddy podcast. They broke up in October of the same year, but shared one last dance together in 2022.

JoJo Siwa told Alex Cooper on the Call Her Daddy podcast that she and Avery Cyrus are still close friends and talk frequently.

JoJo Siwa revealed in March 2022 on the Rachel Uncensored podcast that she’s in a relationship and not looking to date anyone else, stating she’s a very loyal partner.

She’d played the field, she continued, and snagged herself a catch in Katie Mills

I’ve really grown and learned a lot lately, and I’m incredibly happy with where I am now,” Siwa said with a smile.

But safe to say her romance with the TikToker wasn’t all fun and games.

After Siwa shared a video in March 2023 criticizing past relationships for excessive flattery and attention-seeking, Mills responded with some pointed comments of her own.

In a TikTok video she posted that month, she explained she was no longer going to stay silent. She questioned how someone could claim to love someone, then suddenly cut off contact, only to publicly accuse them of seeking attention and being overly affectionate. She said she just didn’t understand the behavior.

She also pointed out that Siwa was the one who first shared their relationship with the public, but Mills always asked for her permission before posting anything about it. Mills emphasized she has text messages to back up her claim, and warned people not to question her about it.

It’s clear that Avery Cyrus, whom JoJo Siwa briefly dated in 2022, hasn’t become a major public figure herself.

The singer celebrated 12 years with her partner, describing their life together as a dream. In an interview with TopMob News, she explained that their personalities blend perfectly, which she considers essential for a strong relationship. She also shared that her partner’s positivity makes her feel wonderful, and she believes she has the same effect on her partner.

However, the atmosphere shifted in December. Just two days after Cyrus announced their breakup, Siwa hinted online about someone who had exploited her popularity.

She expressed feeling exploited in a December 2022 video her mother posted, saying she was used for attention and manipulated into believing someone cared for her, ultimately feeling betrayed.

For Cyrus, though, their dalliance wasn’t a game.

We ended things with JoJo on good terms and remain friends,” she told TopMob News. “Our relationship was genuine, and I care for JoJo and her family very much.

Dakayla Wilson finished as a runner-up on season 18 of So You Think You Can Dance, but she clearly made a strong impression on judge JoJo Siwa. Siwa revealed in an August TikTok that she and Wilson became a couple after Siwa took time off from her own work to help Wilson teach a dance class, calling Wilson her ‘All Star Assistant’.

For months, Wilson was a wonderful dance partner. JoJo Siwa also revealed he supported her desire to have triplets and generously spent $30,000 to celebrate her 19th birthday in Hawaii.

“I’m completely in love with her,” the former Nickelodeon star told TopMob News. “She’s an amazing person, and I feel so fortunate to have her in my life.”

But it turned out that Wilson wasn’t all Siwa wanted for Christmas.

JoJo Siwa shared with People in November 2024 that she and her former partner have split up, but she still thinks highly of her. Siwa also mentioned she has her own plans for the holidays and knows her ex-partner is spending time with her family.

In January 2025, Siwa publicly announced she was dating Australian content creator Kath Ebbs, referring to her as her girlfriend.

Ebbs showed their affection in return, sharing kissing photos of them both on social media that same month. They celebrated the moment on Instagram with the caption, “Just a little queer happiness for your feed!”

Just three months after their announcement, Ebbs shared that they actually broke up at the wrap party for Celebrity Big Brother UK.

In an April 2025 TikTok, Ebbs explained that she’d been told there were mixed emotions and that the other housemates had come to the conclusion they didn’t see a future with her.

However, Siwa stressed that this wasn’t something anyone could easily step into, even though she was close to fellow housemate Chris Hughes.

While filming, JoJo Siwa realized she had some much-needed space to think. As she explained on ITV’s This Morning with Holly Hughes, being away from everyone and external pressures allowed her to reflect on her life and recognize things she’d previously accepted that she shouldn’t have.

Siwa didn’t win Celebrity Big Brother UK, but she found something even better during filming in spring 2025: a romantic connection with fellow contestant Chris Hughes.

She excitedly told Keltie Knight of TopMob News at the opening of Universal’s Epic Universe on May 21st that Christopher is her favorite person to discuss. She quickly corrected herself, saying he’s not a ‘thing,’ but truly her favorite person to talk about.

And, yet, she kept reiterating, they were just friends. Until they weren’t.

JoJo Siwa confirmed in an interview with The Guardian in June 2025 that her relationship with her partner had become romantic. She described it as a wonderful progression, saying she’s completely in love and feels the same way in return.

She still feels the term “queer” best describes her identity and how she sees herself. However, she prioritizes connecting with people as individuals rather than focusing on labels.

Okay, so JoJo Siwa gets it. She totally said there are, like, so many different ways people can identify, and honestly? It’s the most amazing thing ever when someone figures out who they really are. It just feels so good that she said that, it’s so validating!
