JoJo Siwa does not eff around when it comes to the Kardashians.
Okay, so I’m a HUGE fan of JoJo’s Bows, and honestly, she’s become like a protective older sister to North West! She used to babysit her, which is adorable, and now she’s seriously not letting anyone say a bad word about her. Like, you mess with North, you mess with JoJo, period. It’s the sweetest, most amazing thing ever! I’m living for this protective energy.
Apparently, the singer of “Karma” stepped in when they overheard someone on the stage crew criticizing North’s performance in the 2024 production of The Lion King. They confronted the choreographer’s assistant about the negative comments.
JoJo explained to Erin Lim Rhodes of TopMob News’ The Rundown that she firmly told someone, ‘Not in my studio.’ She shared this came from her own experience being criticized as a child, saying she didn’t want to contribute to that kind of negativity.
The former Nickelodeon star believes people often criticize North because of who her parents are. JoJo, age 25, remembered challenging the person who was criticizing North, asking them to comment on anyone else’s performance, but they couldn’t.
Describing the situation as completely wrong, she firmly stated that she wouldn’t allow anyone to take advantage of a child in her workspace and told them to leave.
The former Nickelodeon star also believes North, who is now a musician and has even modeled for SKIMS, has blossomed into a remarkable young woman, considering everything she’s already accomplished.
She was thrilled for her friend, saying, “It’s wonderful to see her discover who she is and embrace her true self. I absolutely love it!”
JoJo thinks her daughter, North, will probably enjoy her new hair accessories. The collection, called JoJo’s Bows, includes both vibrant, colorful designs reminiscent of JoJo’s signature ponytail look, and more sophisticated, neutral tones that reflect her current, grown-up style as ‘Joelle’.

I’m excited to bring back JoJo’s Bows, a line designed for kids! I’m also launching Joelle Bows, which are beautiful designs for adults and older teens.
After stepping away from bows for a while, JoJo Siwa, the former Dance Moms star, now sees her accessories collection as a reflection of her growth – a way to show the world who she is as an adult.
JoJo shared, “I’ve finally figured out who I really am, and archery has become so integral to my life that it feels like a natural fit.”
