JoJo Siwa Shares Update on Baby Plans With Chris Hughes

Joelle “JoJo” Siwa wants her future kids to have Bette Davis Chris Hughes eyes. 

The Dance Moms star realized she had strong feelings for the Love Island contestant after her friend, Meghan Trainor, gave her some helpful advice.

JoJo recently shared with TopMob News’ Erin Lim Rhodes that Meghan Trainor once described how you know you’re truly in love: when you want to ‘duplicate’ the person you love and have a child with them.

The singer, known for her song “Karma,” shared that she’s been really wanting a baby since she and her partner confirmed their relationship in June. They first connected while appearing on season 24 of Celebrity Big Brother UK.

When I first started dating Chris, I told my sister, ‘Now I understand what you meant!’ I’m so in love with him, and I really want a child who looks like him.

And a photo of baby Chris, 33, only further confirmed her revelation. 

“He sent me a baby photo of him the other day. It’s like him in a trash can,” JoJo shared. “It’s really cute. And I was like, ‘Uh oh.'”

However, they haven’t really discussed having kids in detail yet. JoJo, who once mentioned wanting children around age 23, playfully pointed out that Chris didn’t seem very interested when she shared an AI image of what their future children might look like.

She told TopMob that he was aware of the situation. After a few days of silence, she asked him why he wouldn’t discuss it with her.

JoJo recently shared that she’s changed her mind about baby names. She no longer plans to name a daughter Freddie, or her twin sons Eddy and Teddy.

She revealed to Capital Buzz in June that she’d landed on a name for her children, almost a year after first discussing potential options. She plans to name them Silver Siwa.

She remembered him saying, ‘Honey, we already talked about this.’ She insisted they hadn’t, and he then clarified he’d discussed it with his best friend, Jack.

On August 1, 2020, a then-17-year-old JoJo Siwa happily shared who she was dating. She was excited about this new boyfriend, even more so than her previous crushes on actors Patrick Dempsey and Zac Efron.

The former Dance Moms star enthusiastically told Jessalynn Siwa, the musician’s mother, that he was incredible and exactly who she’d hoped for.

But by that November, the pair were no longer in harmony. 

JoJo Siwa spoke out on Instagram to defend her former boyfriend, Mark. She said he doesn’t deserve the negativity he’s receiving and that people should be supportive. Siwa explained that the public doesn’t know the details of their relationship, how much joy they shared, or how happy they both were. She clarified that they simply decided it was best to go their separate ways, and that was the full story.

JoJo Siwa and Kylie Prew first became friends on a cruise in 2020, but their relationship blossomed a year later. Siwa announced on Instagram in February 2021 that she had started dating Prew, calling her an amazing person.

Siwa also thanked her girlfriend, calling her incredibly supportive and saying she encouraged her to be herself. She had already created content with Pride House, a group of LGBTQ+ TikTok creators, and posted a TikTok of herself dancing to Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way.” She was considering whether or not to share a photo of her shirt that read “Best Gay Cousin Ever.”

You know, I was feeling a little hesitant about sharing a photo on my Reels story, but a friend really gave me the boost I needed. I mentioned I was thinking about it, and she was instantly supportive, basically saying, ‘Go for it!’ That’s all the encouragement I needed, so I just did! It’s amazing how a little support can make all the difference, right?

JoJo Siwa and her former partner moved in together, a decision Siwa now regrets, as she shared on the Call Her Daddy podcast in April 2024. They broke up in October of the same year, but did share one last dance together in 2022.

JoJo Siwa told Alex Cooper on the Call Her Daddy podcast that she and Avery Cyrus are still close friends and talk frequently.

JoJo Siwa said in March 2022 on the Rachel Uncensored podcast that she’s in a relationship and isn’t looking to date anyone else, stating she’s a very loyal partner.

She’d played the field, she continued, and snagged herself a catch in Katie Mills. 

“I really explored my options,” Siwa said with a smile. “I experimented quite a bit, and I’ve grown a lot. I’m truly happy with where I’ve ended up.”

But safe to say her romance with the TikToker wasn’t all fun and games. 

After Siwa shared a video in March 2023 criticizing past relationships for excessive flattery and attention-seeking, Mills responded with some pointed comments of her own.

She publicly addressed the situation on TikTok, saying she was finished staying silent. She questioned how someone could profess love for another person and then suddenly cut off all contact, only to later accuse them online of seeking attention and being overly affectionate. She expressed confusion about the contradictory behavior.

She also pointed out that Siwa was the one who first shared their relationship with the public, but Mills always asked for her permission before posting anything about it online. Mills emphasized that she has text messages to back up her claim and asked people not to question her account.

It’s safe to say that Avery Cyrus, who briefly dated JoJo Siwa in 2022, hasn’t become a major star herself.

Celebrating 12 years together, the singer described her relationship as a dream come true. She explained to TopMob News that their strong connection comes from how well their personalities blend. She also shared that her partner’s positivity makes her feel great, and she believes she has the same effect on her partner.

However, the atmosphere shifted in December. Just two days after Cyrus announced their breakup, Siwa hinted online about someone who had used her popularity for their own benefit.

She expressed feeling exploited in a December 2022 video her mother posted, saying she was used for attention and taken advantage of after being led to believe someone cared for her.

For Cyrus, though, their dalliance wasn’t a game. 

We ended things with JoJo on good terms and remain friends,” she told TopMob News. “Our relationship was genuine, and I have a lot of love for JoJo and her family.

Dakayla Wilson finished as a runner-up on season 18 of So You Think You Can Dance, but she clearly made a big impression on judge JoJo Siwa. Siwa revealed on TikTok in August that she and Wilson have become a couple, sharing that she even took time off from her own work to assist Wilson with a dance class.

For months, Wilson was a wonderful dance partner for Siwa. She revealed he fully supported her desire to have triplets and generously spent $30,000 to celebrate her 19th birthday with a trip to Hawaii.

“I’m completely in love with her,” the former Nickelodeon star told TopMob News. “She’s an amazing person, and I feel so fortunate to have her in my life.”

But it turned out that Wilson wasn’t all Siwa wanted for Christmas. 

JoJo Siwa shared with People in November 2024 that she and her former partner had split up, describing her as a wonderful person. Siwa also mentioned she had her own plans for the holidays and that her ex-partner was spending them with her family.

In January 2025, Siwa publicly announced she was dating Kath Ebbs, an Australian content creator, referring to her as her girlfriend.

Ebbs showed their affection in return, sharing pictures of them kissing online that same month. They celebrated their connection with a post saying, “Here’s a little queer happiness for your feed!”

Just three months later, Ebbs shared that they broke up at the wrap party for Celebrity Big Brother UK.

I saw a TikTok from Ebbs back in April 2025 where she explained things from her side. Basically, she said there were a lot of mixed emotions going around, and the people she was with came to the conclusion that I wasn’t who they saw a future with. It was tough to hear, but she let me know what happened.

Despite being close to fellow housemate Chris Hughes, Siwa maintained that her situation couldn’t be easily fixed or someone else simply stepped in.

While filming, JoJo Siwa found herself deeply introspective. As she explained on ITV’s This Morning with Phillip Hughes on April 28th, she had space to think without outside influences. This allowed her to recognize things in her life she’d previously accepted that she now realized weren’t right.

Siwa didn’t win Celebrity Big Brother UK, but she gained something even better during filming in spring 2025: a romantic relationship with fellow contestant Chris Hughes.

She excitedly told Keltie Knight of TopMob News at the opening of Universal’s Epic Universe on May 21st that Christopher is her favorite person to talk about, quickly adding that she didn’t mean to refer to him as a ‘thing’.

And, yet, she kept reiterating, they were just friends. Until they weren’t. 

JoJo Siwa confirmed in an interview with The Guardian in June 2025 that her relationship with her partner had become romantic. She described it as a wonderful and natural progression, saying she’s completely in love and feels the same way in return.

She still feels the term “queer” best describes her identity, but ultimately she focuses on connecting with people, rather than defining herself by a label.

JoJo Siwa pointed out that there are many different ways people identify in terms of sexuality. She believes it’s wonderful when someone figures out who they are.
