JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run Drops English Dub Trailer Ahead of Netflix Premiere

This spring, Netflix is adding several popular anime series, and fans recently got a preview of the English dub for one of the biggest: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run. This new anime adaptation of Hirohiko Araki’s classic manga, originally featured in Shonen Jump, will essentially reboot the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure universe, starting with Part 7 of the story. It’s a big change for the series, and English dub fans will be able to enjoy it as well.

Fans can start watching JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run on Netflix this March. The streaming service has announced that the English dub will be available on the same day as the original Japanese version, starting Thursday, March 19th. Netflix has also revealed the voice cast for the English dub, and you can watch a trailer featuring the new dub below.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run English Dub Confirms Netflix Release Date

I’m so excited to share that JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run is finally hitting Netflix worldwide on March 19th! And get this – the first episode is a full 47 minutes long! The best part? You’ll be able to watch it with both English and Japanese audio. The team behind the previous six seasons at david production is back – Yasuhiro Kimura and Hideya Takahashi are directing, with Yasuko Kobayashi handling the scripts. Daisuke Tsumagari is on character design, and Yugo Kanno is composing the music, so we’re in for a real treat!

The English dub of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run has announced its voice cast: Daman Mills will play Johnny Joestar, Kaiji Tang is Gyro Zeppeli, Damien Haas is Diego Brando, Frankie Kevich is Lucy Steel, Jamieson Price is Steven Steel, Alejandro Antonio Ruiz is Sand Man, and Cedric Williams is Pocoloco. The original Japanese cast includes Shogo Sakata as Johnny Joestar, Yohei Azakami as Gyro Zeppeli, Kaito Ishikawa as Diego Brando, Rie Takahashi as Lucy Steel, Kenta Miyake as Steven Steel, Masaaki Mizunaka as Sand Man, and Kenichiro Matsuda as Pocoloco.

What’s New for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run?

As a huge JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure fan, I’m honestly thrilled about Steel Ball Run! Some people might think being the seventh part is intimidating, but it’s actually the perfect place to start. The ending of Stone Ocean totally shook things up, creating a completely fresh timeline. That means Steel Ball Run isn’t weighed down by previous storylines – it’s a brand new world with a new setting, new characters, and a whole new adventure, so you can jump right in without needing to know everything that came before!

This installment is a particularly enjoyable entry in the series. It’s unique because the entire story unfolds during a horse race set in the early days of America. Imagine all the signature Stand powers and eccentric characters from other JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure games, but with a thrilling race layered on top – that’s what makes fans so excited about this one.
