Jon Bon Jovi Opens Up About Millie Bobby Brown & Jake Bongiovi’s Baby

It’s Jon Bon Jovi‘s life as a grandfather—it’s now or never. 

Following the August announcement that his son, Jake Bongiovi, and daughter-in-law, Millie Bobby Brown, welcomed their daughter, the singer of “Livin’ on a Prayer” is enjoying being a grandfather.

Jon, who co-parents with Dorothea Hurley, described the situation as ‘crazy, but great, wonderful’ in a recent conversation with Bunnie XO. He explained that after they met their adopted granddaughter, she instantly felt like family – ‘your grandchild, your baby.’ This conversation will be featured in an upcoming episode of Bunnie XO’s *Dumb Blonde* podcast.

Jon, who is also a father to Stephanie, Jesse, and Romeo, says he absolutely loves being a grandfather to his granddaughter.

He exclaimed how beautiful it was, saying he wanted to see pictures of it constantly. He jokingly admitted he was already being demanding, but added that he thought it was great.

And the family is growing! Jon shared that his son, Jesse, and his wife are expecting a baby, which he says feels like another big change for everyone.

This is the first time the singer of “It’s My Life” has spoken about Jake and Millie’s new baby, following the couple’s announcement that they had adopted a daughter privately.

We’re thrilled to start this new journey as parents and would appreciate some privacy during this special time,” the couple shared in an August 21st Instagram post. They also announced they are expecting their third child.

Jon is overjoyed with his new granddaughter, and he also really admires the relationship between Jake and Millie.

He shared that while they married young, he and his family were happy for them. He explained that the couple – the actress from *Stranger Things* and his son – seemed very mature for their age, and she came from a stable family where her parents have been together for a long time, also marrying young.

Jon explained that his friend and Jake became a couple, and they were happy to support the relationship, which seems to be going well.

You know, what I really admire about her is just how genuinely kind she is – a total sweetheart! But it’s not just that; she works incredibly hard. I always tell her how much I respect her dedication, because honestly, her work ethic is just unbelievable. It’s really inspiring to see.

The musician spoke out after Millie and Jake celebrated their first anniversary. The couple started dating in 2021.

Millie celebrated her one-year wedding anniversary by sharing a throwback photo from her wedding on Instagram with the caption, “I love being your wife.” The post was made on September 21st.
