Karl-Anthony Towns has found his teammate for life in Jordyn Woods.

The NBA player and his model fiancée announced their engagement with sweet photos after dating for five years. The pictures, shared on December 25th, show him proposing to her on a rooftop.

They wished everyone a Merry Christmas in an Instagram post, adding a red heart, Christmas tree, and diamond ring emoji.

Another sweet photo from the carousel shows the couple sharing an emotional hug. Jordyn, looking radiant in a white satin dress and fur coat—a perfect outfit for a bride-to-be—also proudly displays her large engagement ring in other pictures.

Although they’ve just announced their engagement, rumors have been circulating since early October. This started when Jordyn shared a series of photos on Instagram with a large engagement ring visible on her finger.

In a photo taken on October 3rd, the socialite was seen wearing a New York Knicks hoodie, likely to show support for her fiancé, who had just been traded to the Knicks from the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Okay, so she was already amazing, but then she did THIS! She was literally in the In-N-Out drive-thru, and instead of just existing, she was playing with one of those Snapchat bridal filters! It lets you try on all these different wedding dresses and accessories, and she captioned the video saying she was ‘building my dream wedding vibe’ with a little laughing face. Honestly, it was the cutest thing EVER and I’ve watched it like, a million times. I need that wedding vibe in my LIFE!

She wasn’t thrilled with wedding dresses, but she didn’t mind keeping people wondering if she was about to get married.

“I’m not thrilled with these options,” Jordyn, 27, admitted, “but since everyone keeps pressing me about marriage, I guess I’ll pick something.”

However, the questions are understandable, given that both individuals have previously discussed how their friendship developed into a romantic relationship.

Jordyn, who started dating Karl-Anthony in 2020, shared on her Instagram show, Regular-ish, in 2021 that she enjoys dating her best friend. She explained that they have a deep understanding of each other, knowing each other’s personalities and having supported each other through both good and difficult times.

That year, rumors began circulating that the NBA player had been unfaithful, fueled by screenshots of a supposed conversation with another woman.

However, Karl-Anthony, 28, immediately set the record straight—and nodded to a future engagement.

The athlete posted, “I’m with the most amazing woman, so I won’t bother with anyone else!” He also added that the same people criticizing their relationship now will be the same ones offering congratulations when he proposes.”
