Josh Allen Addresses “Frustration” During Bills Loss to Texans

Josh Allen experienced a blitz of emotions.

During Thursday Night Football on November 20th, the Buffalo Bills quarterback openly shared his frustration after a close 23-19 loss to the Houston Texans.

Josh had a difficult game, getting tackled behind the line eight times. He grew visibly frustrated, throwing his helmet and questioning his team’s performance after one unsuccessful play, saying, “What are we doing?”

Oh my gosh, did you see Josh after the game? He’s just so perfect, even when he’s frustrated! He was talking to the reporters, and he was so cute explaining what happened. Basically, he said he was just annoyed with himself because he should have called a timeout. Apparently, the play call got to him a little late, and he felt like they didn’t have enough time to run it properly. Seriously, even when he’s analyzing football, he’s adorable! And he’s MARRIED to Hailee Steinfeld! My heart!

Josh stated after the game on November 20th that the team was hoping for a win, saying, ‘We really wanted it today and almost pulled it off. We need to figure out how to get there.’

Ultimately, Josh said the Bills just “gotta play better,” going into their next game.

The 29-year-old also talked about being sacked a career-high number of times during the game, setting a new personal record.

He admitted the team’s offensive struggles weren’t enjoyable, and he personally made some mistakes. He needs to improve at throwing the ball away when a play isn’t working, avoid losing yardage, and give the team a chance to advance the ball in manageable situations. He acknowledged he could have handled those plays better.

Even though the Bills lost, bringing their season record to 7-4, Josh Allen praised the team for their effort and determination throughout the game.

We managed to stay competitive, and our defense saved us on a few occasions. Ultimately, though, we couldn’t find a way to win.

Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills can get back to their winning ways on November 30th when they play the Pittsburgh Steelers.
