Josh Duhamel’s Wife Audra Mari Is Pregnant, Expecting Baby No. 2

Josh Duhamel and Audra Mari are welcoming another soul into their safe haven.

Actor Josh Duhamel and his wife Audra are expecting their second child together. They are also parents to 2-year-old Shepherd, born in 2024, and Duhamel has a 12-year-old son, Axl, with his ex-wife, Fergie.

Audra announced on Instagram on March 5th that she and her partner are expecting a baby girl, writing, ‘We can’t wait to meet you!’

The post included black-and-white photos of the 32-year-old, smiling and gently holding her noticeably large baby bump.

Even though Josh, who married Audra in 2022, wasn’t in the pregnancy photos, he quickly shared how thrilled he was about the upcoming baby.

He commented on Audra’s post, writing, “Can’t wait to meet the baby!” and adding a pink heart. He also wrote, “Love you, Mom!”

Oh my gosh, you guys, Josh always posts about his family! Seriously, Audra, Shepherd, and Axl are all over his Instagram. It’s the cutest! He’s always sharing little glimpses into their life in Minnesota – just everyday stuff, but also all their birthdays and special occasions. I’m obsessed with seeing them all!

He admitted Los Angeles is a great city, but added that he also enjoys getting his children outdoors, letting them experience nature and learn skills he picked up as a child.

Now that Josh has a daughter, he’s excited to embrace a new role as a ‘Girl Dad,’ and he’s confident he’ll be great at it. He’s always been a very thoughtful and dedicated parent.

He shared with Us Weekly in September that reflecting on his parenting was enjoyable, allowing him to identify areas for improvement. He admitted to feeling guilty about his demanding work schedule and often tries to make up for his absence by going above and beyond when he is present with his children.

He admitted Los Angeles is a great city, but added that he also enjoys getting his kids outdoors, letting them experience nature and learn skills he picked up as a child.

Josh explained that parents want their children to understand the effort it takes to support a family. He pointed out a difficult balance: while it’s important to show kids what hard work looks like, constantly being away for work can also mean missing out on important family moments – something a parent with a traditional 9-to-5 job might avoid.

He added, “It’s a constant struggle in this business. It’s not easy.”

Okay, seriously, when Josh posted on Instagram for Father’s Day 2023, my heart MELTED. He wrote, ‘To my buddy boy…you bring my life a lot of joy,’ and then just… ‘Love you kid.’ I mean, swoon. It’s just… everything!

As a mom, I always love celebrating my little ones! I recently marked my son Axl’s 10th birthday in August 2023 and shared some sweet photos – including this fun, playful one – with everyone. It’s amazing how fast time flies!

She wrote a birthday message to her son, calling him caring, funny, outgoing, loving, smart, talkative, and creative – a true superhero fan! She finished with, ‘Happy 10th birthday, Axl Jack! I love you!’

Axl became a big brother in January 2024, when Josh welcomed baby boy Shepherd with wife Audra Mari.

As an avid soccer fan, Axl rang in his 11th birthday in 2024 while wearing his favorite jersey.

Oh my gosh, seeing him grow up is just the best! Seriously, it doesn’t even matter what team he’s playing for – I’m his number one fan, always! I just want him to chase whatever makes him happy, and I love him so much, it’s impossible to put into words!

Though Axl is still young, Fergie marked his twelfth birthday by celebrating all the different sides to his personality.

She shared on Instagram on August 29, 2025, how proud she is of her child’s growing independence and kindness. She expressed immense joy in watching them discover their passions and mature, and said she feels fortunate to be their mother.
