Josh Lucas Reacts to Wife Brianna Ruffalo’s Crush on Jon Hamm

Josh Lucas may be putting his palm to his face.

Mark Ruffalo jokingly admitted his wife, Brianna, is likely still a bigger fan of Patrick Dempsey’s character in Sweet Home Alabama, something she shared with TopMob News last year. But that’s not the only time he feels like he’s competing for her attention.

Josh recently shared with TopMob News’ Erin Lim Rhodes that he ran into Jon Hamm at an event for the show. He admitted he was surprised by his own excitement, saying, ‘I actually had to ask myself, why am I so eager to meet him?’ This happened before the show’s second season premiered on November 12th.

The 54-year-old, who married 34-year-old Brianna in July after a June engagement, is happy for her enthusiasm, jokingly saying it was “really sweet, actually.”

I was so thrilled to hear our local weathercaster talk about meeting one of the stars from Mad Men at a Golden Globes event! She was clearly rooting for him and his new show on Apple TV, and sweetly mentioned she was also cheering on her husband. It was just a really cute and genuine moment!

Brianna shared a photo on Instagram on October 20th of herself with Josh and Jon Hamm, writing that she was thrilled to meet him. She also mentioned that Your Friends & Neighbors was a standout show for her this year.

Josh shared his playful jealousy on Instagram, posting about the meeting and writing, “My wife was so thrilled to meet Jon Hamm that I’m starting to question things….”

Putting humor aside, the actor known for his role in Ford v. Ferrari has publicly expressed his affection for Brianna, even commenting on her Instagram post announcing their wedding in Vatican City.

“I love you!” Josh wrote. “Easily one of the greatest days of my life. I am so so grateful.”
