During the persistent wildfires ravaging Los Angeles, a former star of “Dawson’s Creek” announced that his house in Topanga Canyon had been destroyed by the disaster. Yet, Joshua provided an update on the health and safety of himself, his 4-year-old daughter Juno (ex-partner being Jodie-Turner Smith), as well as their loved ones’ status.
In a statement on January 12th, Joshua shared with Deadline that everyone dear to him who was impacted by the fire is safe. His daughter, family, and neighbors have all escaped unharmed. Unfortunately, his beloved home didn’t survive the fires. However, today he feels incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by those he cherishes most.
Back in 2001, the celebrity known as Dr. Odyssey bought back his old family house from Topanga Canyon. Previously, he had shared his feelings on this complete loop experience.
He shared with Mr. Porter in July 2021 that his father wasn’t a good role model as either a parent or a spouse and passed away, but the house in Topanga held a sense of simplicity that helped him heal significantly.
After welcoming their daughter, Juno, the Queen & Slim actress and Joshua, proceeded to sleep in his old bedroom as a child.
