Instead of having Swedish legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic on the cover of the EA Sports FC 26 Ultimate Edition, it has been confirmed by EA Sports that Jude Bellingham and Jamal Musiala from Real Madrid and Bayern Munich will jointly appear on the standard edition’s cover for the game on PS5 and PS4.
On the cover of the Champions League match, you’ll notice the two players exiting the tunnel. In reality, no stadium arranges home and away fans right beside the tunnel on opposite sides. However, to enhance the excitement of the artwork, a few artistic liberties were taken.
Initially, Bellingham played for England, while Musiala represented Germany at the international level. Interestingly, Musiala had been part of England’s youth teams, ranging from under-15s to under-21. However, he eventually chose to play for his birthplace and his mother’s nation. As a result, these two players shared a team during their growth and played together for England in their younger years.
In conversation with The New York Times, Musiala shared that he spent his childhood playing FIFA and admired footballers like Ronaldinho, Messi, and Neymar. He would observe their techniques in the game, then practice by dribbling through obstacles in his garden or local park, aiming to emulate them. This opportunity is a significant milestone for him, a realization of a long-cherished dream.
As a thrilled supporter, I can’t contain my excitement! On the 26th of September, 2025, FC 26 will be unveiled for both PS5 and PS4. In the near future, we’ll get to see its debut reveal trailer live!
