Following the huge popularity of Jujutsu Kaisen, a short sequel manga called Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo was published weekly for about six months, resulting in only three volumes. Despite fan hopes for a continuation, the author, Akutami, doesn’t seem to be planning one. The manga currently has 16 chapters, and the story is now focused on the final conflicts: Yuka Okkotsu versus Dabura, and Tsurugi Okkotsu against Maru.
The world of Jujutsu is thrown into turmoil after peace talks collapse, confirming the sorcerers’ biggest fears. Despite trying to avoid a fight with the Simurians, Yakumaru destroyed any chance of peace by fatally shooting Cross. Although the initial confusion about Cursed Spirits and Kalyans could have been resolved peacefully, the Simurians are now unwilling to negotiate with the sorcerers following Cross’s death.
With Cross’ life on the line, the Okkotsu siblings are desperately trying to safeguard the world of Jujutsu. Tsurugi wants to save his sister from a fatal battle with Dabura, but Yuka is resigned to sacrificing herself, believing she’s outmatched. She’s even unleashed a wild and uncontrollable Mahoraga, sealing her fate. Although the series’ end date hasn’t been revealed, it’s currently predicted to conclude around the first half of 2026.
