Season 3 of Jujutsu Kaisen is a hugely popular anime, picking up the story after the intense Shibuya Incident. The season initially focuses on the aftermath of the battle between sorcerers and villains, which included the sealing of Satoru Gojo. It then moves into the arcs detailing Itadori’s efforts to prepare for what comes next. This leads directly into the start of the Culling Game, which is currently being shown in the anime. This season will be split into two parts, with the first twelve episodes concluding on March 26th, 2026. A second part has been confirmed to continue the story of the Culling Game, but details are still to come.
This year, animation studio MAPPA is celebrating its 15th anniversary, and their official X (formerly Twitter) account promises some big news. Founded in 2011, MAPPA quickly became a leading animation studio, known for popular shows like Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man, Attack on Titan (starting with Season 4), and Vinland Saga (starting with Season 2), among many other critically acclaimed series. Given its popularity, Jujutsu Kaisen is almost certain to be part of the anniversary announcements.
MAPPA Confirms New Jujutsu Kaisen Update in June 2026

To celebrate its 15th anniversary, MAPPA has launched a new website and logo. The website announced that updates on current projects like Jujutsu Kaisen and Chainsaw Man will be shared on the studio’s official YouTube channel.
MAPPA has already gotten anime fans excited with hints about two of their biggest hits, though they haven’t revealed everything they’re planning yet. They’re also hosting an exhibition in cities throughout Japan, and will be releasing new merchandise featuring special artwork. Plus, thanks to their collaboration with Netflix, a brand new project is likely on the way.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Part 2 Will Be Even More Intense

The second half of the series will be packed with the most exciting and unpredictable battles of the Culling Game Arc. This arc is the longest one yet, and it builds towards the final showdown in Shinjuku. Up until now, the anime has been establishing the characters, explaining the rules of the Culling Game, and showing some early fights. But Part 2 will be a turning point, as the deadly battle royale heats up with the arrival of some incredibly powerful fighters.
Yuta Okkotsu is currently the most powerful sorcerer in the fight, and he’s about to show just how strong he is against the other reincarnated sorcerers. Based on how the first part of the series unfolded, the next part will likely have around 12 episodes.
