Get ready! Season 3 of Jujutsu Kaisen arrives this January, and a new trailer gives a sneak peek at what’s coming. The show’s second season ended with the intense and chaotic Shibuya Incident, and now Yuji Itadori and the remaining sorcerers are facing even bigger challenges. Expect larger battles, new powers, and plenty of action – it’s arriving very soon!
During the Jump Festa 2026 event in Japan, Shueisha shared a new, longer trailer for the third season of Jujutsu Kaisen. The season is set to premiere in January as part of the Winter 2026 anime lineup, and the trailer features the opening theme song, “AIZO,” by King Gnu. You can watch the trailer below.
What to Know for Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3
The third season of Jujutsu Kaisen, titled Culling Game Part 1, will premiere in Japan on January 8th. Fans in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS, India, and Southeast Asia can stream new episodes exclusively on Crunchyroll starting at 9:00 AM PT. Crunchyroll also has the first two seasons of the show and the movie Jujutsu Kaisen 0, which you’ll want to watch to get ready for the new season.
As a huge Jujutsu Kaisen fan, I’m so hyped for what’s coming next! After everything that happened in Shibuya, Kenjaku’s kicking off this insane tournament called the Culling Game. We’re going to meet a ton of new characters – both enemies and potential allies – and a lot of them are going to be super important as the story moves forward. This season feels like it’s really shaking things up with all these new elements, so you definitely won’t want to miss a single detail!
Everyone is really looking forward to the return of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3, and it was a major focus for Shueisha. However, adapting the second half of the original manga might be challenging. While the first two seasons were action-packed, the manga gets even more intense and unpredictable from there.
As this expands, it might cause disagreements about who it’s really for. We’ll find out how it all plays out soon. What are your thoughts? Share them in the comments and join the discussion in the ComicBook Forum!
