Please be aware that this article contains spoilers for the Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo manga.
After six months, Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo has ended with the release of Chapter 25. The manga first appeared in September 2025, created by writer Gege Akutami and illustrator Yuji Iwasaki. Iwasaki’s detailed artwork quickly gained attention from fans, perfectly complementing the story. The short sequel features many stunning illustrations, with each chapter also having a beautiful cover. Iwasaki is also known for his work on Cipher Academy, a Weekly Shonen Jump series by ISIN NISIO. This marks his first collaboration with Akutami, and he’s looking forward to future projects.
I saw that Iwasaki, the artist behind Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, posted a beautiful new illustration after the final chapter came out. It shows Yuka, Maru, Tsurugi, and Cross holding hands – a nice echo of how they all rallied around Maru during that important ritual. He also shared a thank you message to fans on X, acknowledging their incredible support throughout the series. It’s amazing to think Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo had such a strong debut in Shonen Jump and continues to be popular even now that it’s finished. He says he’ll be back to work on something new once he’s had a chance to rest and recharge.
Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo May Not Be Over Yet

I just finished reading the manga, and even though the main story is over, the final chapter definitely left me wanting more! It ended on a real cliffhanger, hinting that we might see this story again someday. A full-on sequel seems unlikely right now, but I’m hoping the author will include an epilogue in the last volume. They actually did something similar before – Volume 30 had a four-part epilogue that tied up loose ends and led into the previous sequel. This time around, the chapter ends with Kyoko Tomoe reflecting on her romantic struggles, especially now that Dabura has gone back to Simuria.
He had to leave to protect Yuka, and he also needed to handle some personal matters. The last scene shows Kyoko and Yuka looking shocked as someone arrives. The story suggests this newcomer is Dabura, who seems to be after Kyoko. This makes sense because he didn’t stay with the Deskunte tribe for very long after becoming their leader, only ordering them to build a memorial for Dura, the previous chief, before leaving.
Even after the ending of Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, some questions remain, particularly about what happens to Iori Okkotsu and Megumi Fushiguro, who weren’t given much closure. With Yuji starting a new chapter in his life, there’s a possibility we might see more of his story if the creators release a multi-part epilogue. The final volume of the manga, volume 3, will be released on May 1st, 2026. While an English license hasn’t been announced yet, Viz Media is expected to provide an update later this year.
