Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Confirms The Fate Of 2 Major Characters (& 1 Will Devastate Fans)

The story of Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo is starting to come together, focusing on what happens after an alien invasion. Over 50,000 aliens, called Simurians, came to Japan seeking refuge, but their powers and large numbers have put the world of Jujutsu on high alert. The main goal is to find a way for humans and Simurians to live together peacefully, which is proving difficult due to their differing beliefs. Jujutsu sorcerers fight and destroy cursed spirits to protect people, while Simurians see these same beings as sacred Kalyans and revere them.

This leads to a conflict, even though Cross tries to mediate between the groups. Sadly, a sorcerer named Yakumaru mortally wounds Cross, and things quickly spiral out of control. Dabura, the Simurian leader, is heartbroken and vows revenge. He demonstrates his immense power and demands that the sorcerers leave cursed spirits alone – an impossible request. As the conflict between Simurians and sorcerers escalates, the manga reveals what happens to Yuji Itadori and Nobara Kugisaki.

Nobara Reveals Yuji’s Devastating Fate in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo

I noticed in Chapter 13 that Nobara confirmed something the manga had been subtly suggesting: Yuji isn’t aging. Apparently, after his fight with Sukuna, time just… stopped for him. Everyone’s been trying to find out where he is, hoping Nobara might know something since they were so close, but she hasn’t had any contact with him since Hana’s funeral. He made the difficult decision that day not to attend any more farewells. It’s heartbreaking, because while he remains unchanged, he’s been forced to watch his friends live their lives, grow old, and eventually pass away over the years, and it’s completely broken him.

Honestly, what really gets to me is how Yuji failed to keep his promise to his grandfather. There was this popular idea going around among Jujutsu Kaisen fans that he wouldn’t be able to fulfill his grandfather’s last wish, but nobody thought it would actually happen like this! It’s just heartbreaking to see our main character living such a lonely life. He’s been in hiding for years, actively avoiding all the other sorcerers and, even worse, pushing away everyone he used to care about. It’s a really tough situation.
