Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Unveils Special Surprise As Manga Continues Final Battle

Okay, huge warning first: if you’re not caught up with the Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo manga, spoilers ahead! I’ve been following this series since it launched in September 2025, and it’s seriously reaching its climax – things are looking really bleak for our sorcerers. The Simurians, who initially came to Japan seeking refuge, are proving to be unbelievably powerful, far beyond anything the current generation has faced. That’s why the jujutsu world has been scrambling to find a way for everyone to coexist peacefully. Honestly, this manga has blown me away since day one! The artwork by Yuji Iwasaki is stunning, and the story is fantastic. It’s focusing on a new cast of characters, which is exciting, but it’s also been so cool seeing familiar faces like Yuji Itadori and Nobara Kugisaki pop up along the way.

The manga has received several stunning cover illustrations. Chapters 14 and 15 featured covers by artist Iwasaki, and it was also highlighted as the main cover in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. A new cover is planned for Chapter 16, created as a special collaboration between Gege Akutami and Iwasaki. This information comes from the trusted Shonen Jump source, @WSJ_manga on X. While fans are thrilled with the new artwork, some have expressed worry that the artists might be taking on too much work.

Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Entered Its Final Battle in Chapter 15

The situation becomes critical when negotiations collapse after a sorcerer, Yakumaru, accidentally kills Cross during a confrontation. This forces Yuka Okkotsu to represent Earth in a duel against Dabura, who is determined to prevent them from eliminating cursed spirits. Meanwhile, in Chapter 14, Tsurugi shares that he knows his sister has only three months to live and is resolved to do everything he can to save her.

He hopes she can spend her final days in peace, but Yuka is prepared to risk everything fighting Dabura. Chapter 14 features a battle between Tsurugi and Cross, while the newest chapter focuses on Yuka’s duel with Dabura. We learn that Yuka is a descendant of the Zenin Clan and wields the powerful Ten Shadows Style, which she uses to summon Mahoraga to fight Dabura. Because she hasn’t fully mastered controlling Mahoraga, she stays hidden in its shadow to protect herself. Although Dabura’s full capabilities are still unknown, he doesn’t appear intimidated by Mahoraga’s arrival.

The next battles will begin in Chapter 16, coming out on December 21, 2025. You can read it on the Manga Plus app and the Viz Media website. The first collected volume will be released in Japan during the first week of January, though fans in the U.S. will have to wait for an English version. While there’s no confirmed end date for the series, it was originally planned to run for about six months, meaning it should conclude around March or April of next year.
