Please be aware that this article contains spoilers from the Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo manga. The fight between Dabura and Yuka Okkotsu signals that we’re about halfway through the story. This sequel series, created by Gege Akutami and Yuji Iwasaki, began in September and takes place 68 years after the Culling Game. While the world of Jujutsu Kaisen has changed significantly, curses and cursed spirits are still a problem. Adding to the tension, over 50,000 Simurians – beings with powers similar to jujutsu sorcerers – have sought refuge in Japan, and a conflict between them and the sorcerers is a growing concern.
Everything goes horribly wrong when a wizard named Yakumaru accidentally kills Cross, starting a full-scale war between the two groups. To resolve the conflict, Dabura, the Simurians’ leader, challenges someone from Earth to a duel. Since none of the adults are strong enough to fight him, the responsibility falls to Yuka, who is already sick and frail. The battle begins, and in Chapter 15, Yuka reveals a powerful fighting technique – one that’s surprisingly similar to Megumi Fushiguro’s.
Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Confirms Yuka Has Ten Shadows Technique

Yuka, as Maki’s granddaughter, shares a lineage with Megumi Fushiguro as a direct descendant of the Zenin Clan. Both inherited the incredibly powerful Ten Shadows Technique, which once brought the Zenin Clan to prominence in the jujutsu world before being lost to time. Like Megumi, Yuka can summon Mahoraga, but, like everyone else in the Zenin Clan throughout history, she’s unable to control it. Ryomen Sukuna was the only person ever known to tame Mahoraga, before his fight against Satoru Gojo.
Mahoraga’s ability to adapt makes it a dangerous opponent, but it also means Yuka is in serious danger – if she can’t defeat Mahoraga, the summoning ritual will kill her. The fight has just begun, and Yuka immediately played her strongest card, hoping for a quick victory. She summoned Mahoraga and quickly hid in its shadow to protect herself, but staying safe won’t be easy throughout the whole battle. So far, Dabura hasn’t shown his full strength, but he doesn’t seem intimidated by Mahoraga. We’ll likely see the true power of Dabura in the next chapter.
