Please be aware that this article reveals key plot points from the Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo manga! The Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo manga has finished after a six-month run. Created by Gege Akutami and Yuji Iwasaki, this short sequel to the original Jujutsu Kaisen story began in September 2025. Remarkably, the manga released 25 chapters without any breaks, despite most creators taking breaks every few weeks. As promised when it started, the story concludes with Chapter 25. It’s set 68 years after the Culling Game and follows a new cast of characters as over 50,000 Simurians – aliens who possess powers similar to Jujutsu sorcerers – arrive in Japan.
The manga reveals the tragic situation of Yuji Itadori, who stopped aging after swallowing the Death Paintings before his final battle with Sukuna. He was frozen in time, watching his friends live their lives and eventually pass away. He cut ties with Nobara Kugisaki and disappeared, only reappearing during the conflict between the Simurians and sorcerers. Yuji played a vital part in the story by assisting Maru with the Harmony Ritual, which aimed to create peace between humans and Simurians. Despite the story’s conclusion, Yuji’s personal journey continues.
Yuji Teams Up With Nobara Again in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Finale

It’s amazing to think about, but even though Yuji isn’t aging anymore, he’s not actually immortal! He’s got roughly 300 years left, and he’s determined to dedicate that time to helping Japan in any way he can. After rescuing Panda from the Gojo Clan’s storage, he finally catches up with Nobara and shares his next plan. He needs her help specifically – with the fallout from Maru’s ritual, since it looks like no new sorcerers will be born from now on, and we need to be prepared for whatever comes next!
He’s determined to share all his knowledge of barriers and exorcism with the current generation of Jujutsu sorcerers, aiming to eliminate cursed spirits before they even become a threat. He’s also searching for individuals with Heavenly Restricted Bodies, hoping they can help in the fight against curses. Knowing he won’t live forever, Yuji has a plan for after his death: he intends to become a cursed object that, centuries in the future, someone can absorb to gain the power needed to protect the nation if cursed energy becomes a problem again.
Since the main story concluded, Yuji has been facing increasingly difficult challenges. He’s now better prepared to handle them, especially with Nobara by his side. Previously, Yuji had resigned himself to not getting involved in current events, but Maru helped him change his perspective. Although the story has finished, the ending leaves some questions unanswered, hinting at the possibility of a future epilogue that shows what happens to the characters next.
