Fans of *Jujutsu Kaisen* have a lot to look forward to! The third season of the anime is coming next January, continuing the story with Yuji Itadori and friends as they face the intense challenges of the Culling Game Arc. But that’s not all – the mobile game *Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Parade* is also introducing a new storyline where heroes will team up with fresh faces to confront a brand new danger. While we wait for both adventures to begin, details about this new game story are now available.
Although we don’t know exactly when it will be released, details about the upcoming “Cursed Prison Island Arc” have been announced for both the mobile game and anime fans. The story is set in a unique prison built to contain those with curses, but things aren’t what they seem. Yuji Itadori and Kento Nanami will investigate why so many prisoners appear to be unjustly held. This event will introduce three new characters – Eiji Urushi, Ritsu Mitsufuji, and Hidaka Shirakura – who haven’t been seen in the manga or anime yet. You can find details and images of these new characters below.

What is the Phantom Parade?
Similar to many anime games on mobile devices, *Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Parade* lets players collect popular characters from the series. It joins other well-known franchises like *Dragon Ball*, *Bleach*, and *One Piece* that are also available as free-to-play games. Because Studio MAPPA, the animation studio behind the anime, worked on the game, it looks just as good. The game’s story mixes familiar scenes with new content, offering a unique experience for fans.
Fans of *Jujutsu Kaisen* have a lot to anticipate beyond the mobile game. The third season of the anime is coming out early next year, and even though the original manga has finished Yuji Itadori’s story, the creator, Gege Akutami, has already started a new one in the same universe. This sequel, titled *Jujutsu Kaisen: Modulo*, is set sixty years after the initial story and introduces the exciting addition of aliens. While it will likely be several years before *Modulo* gets adapted into an anime, the franchise’s popularity suggests it’s only a matter of time before we see it animated.
