Fans have been waiting for Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3, and it finally arrived this month as part of the Winter 2026 season! The new season will cover the Culling Game Arc. It started with a special one-hour premiere showing the first two episodes, and will now release new episodes weekly. You can currently watch it on Crunchyroll in most countries, but Netflix is only showing it in a few Asian countries. There’s no news yet on when Season 3 will be available on Netflix in the US, though since the first two seasons are there, it’s likely to be added later. Despite this limitation, the show is still doing incredibly well and topping charts, with Netflix adding weekly episodes in select regions.
The anime quickly became popular, ranking second worldwide among non-English TV shows with 3.1 million views in its first week (January 6th-11th, 2026). Netflix Tudum reported it was third the previous week with 2.8 million views. As the third season of Jujutsu Kaisen unfolds, fans are anticipating one of the story’s most exciting arcs. Four episodes have been released so far, completing the Itadori’s Extermination and Perfect Preparation Arcs. The next episode will kick off the Culling Game as the villains move forward with their schemes.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Is All Set to Commence The Culling Game

The first part of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 showed what happened after the massive Shibuya Incident and introduced the new threat created by Kenjaku. With Satoru Gojo gone, the Jujutsu Society is trying to eliminate Yuji Itadori. After a quick fight with Yuta Okkotsu, the students of Jujutsu Tech travel to the Tomb of the Star Corridor where they meet Master Tengen. He explains the Culling Game, a deadly competition Kenjaku has designed to force over a thousand sorcerers to fight each other.
Historically, Japan hasn’t had many powerful sorcerers. That’s why Kenjaku had to possess multiple people to bring back ancient ones, and he also manipulated others to unlock their hidden abilities. The upcoming Culling Game arc will feature many new characters, some of whom will become important allies later on. This arc is the longest in the series and will be split into two parts for the anime adaptation.
The latest episodes of the series will reveal what the main villains, Kenjaku and Sukuna, are really up to and what their plans are. New episodes are released on Crunchyroll every Thursday at 7:30 AM Pacific Time, and dubbed versions become available two episodes later. The first half of Season 3 will have 12 episodes, and information about the second half hasn’t been announced yet.
