Season 3 of Jujutsu Kaisen is heading to theaters with a special preview of the upcoming episodes, and fans have just gotten a first listen to the English dub. The new season is set to premiere in 2026 and will be one of the biggest anime releases of the year. Before the full season arrives, fans can see a sneak peek in theaters with the Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution special event movie, which will feature both Japanese and English audio options.
Starting next month, fans in the US and other areas will be able to see Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution in theaters. It includes a recap of the intense Shibuya Incident arc from season two, but the biggest news is that it will also premiere the first two episodes of the new season – giving fans their first glimpse of the Culling Game. You can check out a new English-dubbed trailer below!
What to Know for Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution
The new Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution movie came out in Japan this fall and will be available in US and select international theaters on December 5th. Fans can also see it early at IMAX theaters during a special one-night event on December 3rd, with screenings happening at over 100 locations. It’s currently unknown how long the movie will stay in theaters, but it could be just for one night, or potentially for a few weeks depending on other film releases.
The English dub of Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution will feature the familiar voices from the first two seasons—those characters who have survived, naturally. The dub has also announced its first new cast member: Alan Lee will voice Naoya Zenin, a key villain in the upcoming Culling Game arc. However, that’s just a small preview of what fans can expect.
When Does Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Come Out?
The highly anticipated new season of Jujutsu Kaisen is almost here! Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3: Culling Game Part 1 will premiere in Japan on January 8th, and Crunchyroll will stream the episodes at the same time for fans outside of Japan. While an English dub is planned, details haven’t been announced yet. Now is a great time to rewatch the first two seasons and the movie, all available on Crunchyroll.
After the devastating events in Shibuya, Yuji finds himself in a Japan swarming with Cursed Spirits. Meanwhile, the next step in Kenjaku’s plan unfolds, leading to a massive and deadly tournament involving surviving sorcerers and powerful spirits and sorcerers from the past. The series is set to return with a truly chaotic and exciting new arc.
