The continuation of Jujutsu Kaisen has been increasingly focused on action, but the newest chapter adds a surprising emotional element, hinting at a deeply affecting conflict before an already huge battle. The story now revolves around how sorcerers and humans are adjusting to the arrival of the Simurians, alien beings seeking shelter on Earth. Since the Simurians possess a leader as powerful, or even more powerful than, Sukuna, the series quickly established that cooperation was the only way forward for humanity. Naturally, the changes brought by the Simurians have created friction, and this tension is now building towards a full-scale war.

Recent events have focused on a growing conflict: sorcerers usually fight cursed spirits, but the Simurians worship them as sacred beings. This difference in beliefs led to violence, severely wounding Cross and sparking a full-scale war between the Simurians and humans. The main battle will be between Dabura and Yuka Okkotsu, and the winner will have their wish fulfilled.
